- A bit of a long video, my process painting up a new bodyshell for my old original Top Force I had bought second hand recently and restored.
All kinds of paint methods in use, I try to document as good as possible, so watch along. There's a small talk bit after all the footage.
I like to experiment and do different stuff, it's fun that way, and hopefully inspire a bit along the way... My main inspiration is Hemistorm on TH-cam, just try search and there should be plenty videos to check out.
Hi Mads! What a great video, I was amazed at how you cut out the individual letter masks, you have far more patience than me! Great job, the body looks fantastic to me, even with the little flaws you pointed out. I was glued to the screen watching this one. Well done my friend - thumbs up and have a smashing weekend! :))

Yeah, it does really take a lot of patience but I think you noticed in the video, I left in some parts where I dropped stuff, either just on the table or on the floor. I needed to get up and walk around a couple times to regain my composure, ha ha!
And a happy weekend to you too! I got a new small RC from HBX, just arrived yesterday, looking forward to play with it, hopefully tomorrow, no idea if I got the courage to shoot video...
Ah, Mark, I now also see the first one used to be there, it still exists as a preview when I see it on the phone... That TH-cam issue is annoying, I also saw that Holly Hill commented, but that comment has gone missing, too...

I test painted a piece of scrap for the Gatekeeper, I think it might come out pretty cool...

I'm happy it was worth watching, I was quite hesitant if I'd do the video. I want to do more paint videos, so hopefully some more coming in the future, even if they are a hassle...

Yeah, I saw that yellow window tint in a tutorial a long time ago, and I've done it on almost all my RC cars so far, I love it!
I'm hoping to do a lot more paint videos if the spring ever comes, right now I'm battling a small winter depression, at least RC-wise, I am totally unmotivated, I can't wait to get my energy levels up again. Your comment certainly got me in the right direction, my friend!
@@madsrcbuggy Winter sucks Mads👎 and not in a good way either . I am taking a pause from RC as my little dog recovers from a major operation to remove some cancer lumps.

The yellow tint, I saw one paint tutorial where he did that and I have done it on all my cars ever since, it's a nice effect...
