Just for you I just bought a pf64 1879 seated dime that i will be breaking out soon. Been wanting a pf coin for my seated dime album, they're much cheaper and prettier than the ms business strike ones. Hopefully your eyes and ears can handle it😂. Thanks for watching & commenting brother!

My father and grandfather collected coins. But they never took tho out of the case plackets. However the plackets they were in were from the actual mints. Is this different????

@Johnny-jr2lq certified from the mints are nice and different. From the mint is about like asking for a genuine or not certification from one of the 3rd party graders, but from the mint you also usually have a coa, which can add a little extra value. Unfortunately not everything coming out of the mint is perfect, which is why people will still send them in to get graded, at which point(for proofs) you'll usually get a pf69 or pf70, everyone wants the 70 as it commands a higher premium. I doubt I would ever break out a pf70, but have broke out a pf69. Thank you for the comment & question!

@@jeffbrown2727 I see makes sense now. I remember them saying that the coins in the plastic cases were never touched by human hands. On a side note when my grandfather passed away. Almost all the collection disappeared then the remaining collection was stolen from my dad. Come to find out the coins were busted out of the cases and spent on cigarettes and alcohol. Kinda messed up because those coins were supposed to go to me when I got older. That’s why I was confused when you were taking out of the plastic. Thank you for explaining this
