first off, this video should have done much better, I can see how much work you have put into it because its well made. sucks most people don't wanna get good at both inputs. I'm planning on making a switch to kbm for a video and i have to say my aim is surprisingly great on kbm but my movement is awful, any tips? also liked and subbed
First off thank you so much for the compliment and taking out time to watch the video, it means so much! I'm current doing the exact same thing you are right now, but with controller! In terms of movement, there are skills that are learned through time and consistency such as the different types of tap-strafes, super glides, wall jumps etc etc. However the one thing that personally helped me learn those movements was ironically staying super calm while in engagements rather than getting tense and sweaty. When I was tense I started to realize my left hand got just as tight as my mouse grip. This made not only my aim and tracking jagged, but also made my movement quite stiff as well. Compared to being calm and loose which allowed me to micro adjust better to manage recoil as well as react faster in order to evade shots or reposition if necessary. Playing this way will take a little to get use to, but in the long run it will make your movement a lot smoother, make learning/ implementing movement tech faster, as well as getting to flow state quicker. Hope this helps! (Btw liked and sub as well, love the structure of the vids. They are very informative, put together, and easy to understand!)
Mines the opposite I just started 20 minutes ago I’m already wall bouncing bunny hopping edge sliding and working on lurches but my aim is dog shit. I haven’t done anything with my settings however and I will change my sens and practice aim
Agreed. Bro made a great video. I'm making the switch right now and gonna be using every bit of his advice. Keep up the great work bro your channel deserves more likes and subs 😁
I JUST built a 7950x3d/4090 and made the switch from XSX to PC. I knew I wanted to learn m&k to be as competitive as possible. I spent some time looking for the best videos on TH-cam to help me out, but I guess I didn’t know what to type in. Apparently “apex legends switching from console to pc” was the golden ticket. What a phenomenal video. Liked/subscribed after my first view! Thank you.
I’m so thankful for this video I have been struggling a little with fighting on mnk and this will make it easier to control my aim and heal in difficult situations and will help me improve I’m hoping to get to plat soon and once I do I’m gonna learn movement
Thank you so much for the video! I’m not a former controller player, but rather someone completely new to Apex and FPS games in general. This helped summarize what I need to press to do what, because gosh there’s a lot to remember
Absolutely welcome man. I did the same thing as you and built my own computer. Looked everywhere for guides, but only found ones about mouse control and aim. So yea, I hope it helps and thank you for watching!
Im finally trying to make the switch. after an hour in the range, I got decent at aiming, reloading, holstering, fatigues, wall jumping and basic moving around. I even got a tap strafe in, which felt awesome, going to take a long time to perfect that.. I found mirror strafing to be waay more important on mnk, I usually mix mirror and anti mirror strafes into my 1v1s, but my controller strafe isnt working on mnk, I have to AD the dummies direction. But Im actually moving around, wall jumping and clipping targets pretty decently for 1.5 hours, my biggest weakness is input location. e.g grenades, melee, ultimate, heals... I thought that braile joke was actually advice for finding the right key.
Bro, haven't played mnk since unturned😭and have been playing controller since. I just swapped to make again and forgot how to even use/play and this video is really great for tips on how to be better so thank you so much.
Thought this was a channel with over a million subs thanks for the tips these are definitely necessary for those who want to feel 100% comfortable in game

I just got my pc a little over a week or two ago, just starting to take relearning mnk seriously (I played mnk on Fortnite and cod when I was on console). I'm tryna get back into aim training, I downloaded r5 reloaded but I only played it on roller with aa off so far, and I'm using the range quite a bit. Already got lurching down and my aim is pretty decent because I've been playing mnk on and off for 3 years so my journey is starting off with a huge kick start plus I should be getting coached soon by one of my friends on TikTok (possibly for free but I'd understand if he wanted a few bucks outta it)
I'm having trouble with deciding if I should use my ring finger for one and two or take my middle finger off W for 1 and 2. What fingers for which numbers do you recommend
Hi, do you recommend this for people coming from console? I have played PC shooting games before but I'm looking for a way to set up my key binds to get used to them, so far I only really play Apex and Fortnite trying to make the keybinds similar just for my sake lol
I currently have my holster set on shift being that I have auto sprint selected. However in the past when I did use sprint on the shift key, I had my holster set to V. Hope this helps!
hello, I'm looking for the best and most optimized keybinds for me but its very hard. For example i don't understand how switching weapons with 1 and 2 is good considering we have to lift our fingers off the movements keys

Great info. But for me with 340ms on the best internet my little African country can provide makes me wonder if I shold even make the switch to MNK Ping is a huge factor
As much as I want to tell you to switch to MNK. I’ll be honest, with that ping it’ll frustrating to land shots no matter how accurate you are. For now I would stick with roller just so aim assist can help compensate for the variation in delay.
I agree, if the player knows how AA works and learns how to work with it rather than against it, this input is very powerful. However what I have come find is that the majority of roller players don't really know the capabilities or limits of AA . Being that most roller players will still try to engage opponents from 100s of yards away or less than 2 meters away (where AA is not effective) rather than waiting and getting to an optimal distance to abuse AA. For me it is less tilting when I get destroyed by a roller player that is purposely utilizing AA at the right distances versus a newer player (lvl 1-50) that accidently utilized AA and beamed me because they were in the right distance at the right time.
i switched from mnk to roller mid s14 and i already had good gamesens so that was never an issue for me, the only thing i struggled at the start in stick control wo aa and even then i corrected it with aim traning @@HazedNConfused
ive recently swapped and i maintain..... the aim isnt shit to get used to.... my beams came within a few range visits and a couple days of games. now..... i still miss slide jumps sometimes.... lmfao this is my first PC ever i have a total of about 2k hrs across all games and i still dont understand how to use the keyboard for apex lmfao i think its my 2800hrs on console just stuck in my brain
These comments are full of controller players that couldn’t figure out controller so they swapped to mnk and have this odd assumption that aiming on mouse is easier in apex😅

what key to you bind melee weapon/hands too? you dont use 3?
