@@RUS_US hi I have torqeedo travel but i don't have the battery for it can I test it with a 12v car battery wired direct to the post and neg wires coming out of the main shaft to see if the motor turns before buying a proper torqeedo battery
@@johnallen7828 the battery has computer inside which apply voltage and current to the motor wires in reguired sequence. For sure we can try to simulate the computer and i was dreamed to do it one day ... but i still do not know wires designation. I.e. i do not know exactly how to do it and what wires should you use to apply the 30V. Another issue is that you will need 30v what require ~3 of 12V batteries. One more issue is current value. I worry if the 12V battery high current will burn the motor wires. There are some videos on youtube with motor repairs ... try to ask authors of the videos.
