@@theelectronage thanks I'll have a look. I've got various belts but the specific belt is very thin. I think that I got a cheap one last time and it stretched after not much use. Thanks again
Hi mate how’re u doing? can you assist me how to get rid of short circuit to ground on my wm-ex622? i’ve checked all the capacitors and couldn’t find any short! also desoldered all the ic chips at a time, without those ic’s it still showing short to ground. Its showing 16 Ohms to ground!😢 (note: i got 1 shorted diode and replaced that, still not solved)
Hi mate, I encountered a similar problem before but I haven't gotten as far as you did( didn't have hot air for desoldering) so i never got to the bottom of it. Good luck. (The one i had had a short on the motor's 3 phases, and i suspected a chip, or a defect in the motor windings)
I had one of these as a kid in 1998. My prized possession, I would not go to school without it
Great video. I bought a new belt but it's too slack. Great sounding Walkman. Thanks you
Where did you buy the new belt please?
Hi,
I buy the belts on Aliexpress.
I have a video showing all the assortments of belts I have.
And you can find them individually on ebay of course.
