This video helped me to change my oil, it was supposed to be done when I handed the bike in at 500 miles but it wasn't changed, I could smell this odd burning at 1000 miles so I ordered the oil used in this video and copied exactly what you did
By the time I changed my oil I had done 1100 miles and it came out really dark and a little thick
My bike a michigan 125 accelerates like it's brand new now and feels great
    Thankyou :)

Why Did you not change the oil filter? Isn’t it good practice when putting new oil in

Be careful with the way you strap a bike down on that lift, you're better off with small ratchets off of the fork legs & rear shocks.
That way you will have good access all round & won't leave an indentation on the seat or rub marks on the bodywork.
    Nice work Danny.
Ride steady and stay safe bud 🤟

850ml of oil for a Michigan, run for couple minutes like you said, then dry dip stick and check levels again without screwing it in! If its low add 50ml a time. 1ltr and your probably above high which can lead to problems 🤷‍♂️ counter clockwise to remove sump bung. enjoyed the video though none the less 👍

I wondered that (new to biking), but in my manual for the first service it says oil change only. Mistake surely, as you would have thought during running in that this might actually be the most important one, otherwise what does running in actually do if not critical wear to the moving parts?
