I don't get why girls swoon over Ryan Gosling and Alexander Skaarsgard (or however the heck you spell that). This guy though, if given the chance, I'd leave my entire life behind to be with him! And not just because he's hot; he's such a good person with so many admirable qualities.

I don't think it's likely. It's possible that they will do one more. At this point, I think they are waiting halfway to season 6 on rather or not if the actors wanted to continue on to the 7th season.
They have already said there ATLEAST doing to Season 9

chelsea tarrant if they do, do 9 seasons then I doubt most of the main characters will there til the end. Lets face it it wouldnt be the vampire diaries without damon stefen and elena! I really doubt theyre going to prolong it til the ninth season :)

I'm calling it now, in season 6 all the supernatural beings who were stuck on the other side at the end of season 5, wake up human in new life's and no memory.

I don't really like feeling of the possibility that Damon and Bonnie may have a romantic relationship or have them slept together. Don't get me wrong, I love Damon and Bonnie, but I feel like it's too late into the series for them to have that kind of storyline. It wouldn't make sense since they spent all that time in season 5 on how Damon and Elena can't be away from each other even though they are bad for each other, blah blah blah and how Bonnie and Jeremy still loves each other even though Bonnie was dead and then brought back to life as the anchor. I am excited to see Damon and Bonnie working together to get back to the people that they love. I think it would be good that they would become comrades (or something like that) and care enough for each other that they would save each other that it wouldn't be for Elena or Jeremy. I'd see more of that storyline happening that having Damon and Bonnie falling in love with each other. I also noticed that Bonnie is the only female character for the past 5 seasons on TVD that did not have sex with Damon or shown any romantic interest in him at all. That's one of the many reasons why I love Bonnie. It would be disappointing on Bonnie's character if they went with Damon and Bonnie romantic storyline.

this show isn't predictable if you think about it ,because if it was they would've made elena choose Stefan no matter what
so I think itll be a cool twist on how they weave that in
Lauryn Ashley I do love that the show is unpredictable. It's one of the many reasons why I love this show. I am still kind of having a hard time seeing how that storyline would happen. For me, if a couple were to happen it need to make sense. Damon and Bonnie kind of don't make sense to me. Of course, I had been wrong in the past, so maybe i'm wrong about Damon and Bonnie romantic storyline. I still prefer them being more like friends than a romantic couple or anything like that.
Completely agree. It would be pretty sloppy story-writing. but like he stated, it is a vampire soap opera lol. So who knows, but Elena and her friends sleepin with her ex's & brother? Idk.. who knows! But I know I'll be dissappointed aswell.
I completely agree. There's really no reason to put the two together and to me don't really work as a pair. It feels like it would just be too many pairings at that point and there has to be someone who's just not into Damon and Bonnie creates that balance in the show. I personlly loved Delena though (which is the only point i have to disagree with you about).

I wonder if it was Ian's idea to have the Bonnie/Damon pairing (friendship or not) next season. He has been very vocal about wanting more scenes with Kat and I find ot strange that out of nowhere Kat will receive more screentime. It is common kmowledge that we really only see Bonnie when someone needs something and she almost never has scenes with Damon. I wonder what changed.
I don't think I can stand another Damon pairing. I love Damon and Bonnie, but there really is no platonic anything in this show and I appreciate the dynamic those two bring and the fact that every conversation they have isn't addled with romantic potential. I got tired of all the whining and shit from season 5 from Elena and Damon, which really seemed unnecessary but I do think they belomg together. So no I dont support Bamon.
