New Years in Phuket has a few options. You can be in crazy Patong town with its hoards of people packed like sardines all the way down Bangor Road and onto the beach or head north a bit to a quieter part of this coastline to Surin Beach which is what we opted for. Still plenty of fun and action without all the riffraff.
