This may sound like a stupid question to some but if I don't have a torque wrench can I tighten those bolts without exact foot pounds? I just want to do this simple job myself but I don't have that tool

Just did today on GF's sister's Maxima. I really had to pry hard to get that upper bar out of the way for the top bolt.

Or cut a section out to get bolt out. How it shouldve been from the factory.

Those torque specs are N•m not ft•lb and striped the nut🤬
