Thanks Andrew, the park being set behind those buildings makes it invisible. I would suggest some signage may help so passing motorists etc could stop and appreciate what a large green open space they have. Many thanks for the comment
I loved that park when I was growing up. I would go there with my dad and other family members. There was a huge slide (h&S wouldn't let us have it now) swings etc it was a lovely place . Thanks for taking us there x
Me used step in park every two weeks used mow in there with my three work buddies few yrs ago good times we used have our lunch in there pop to chippy by shops .nice little park esp for dog walkers .we used mow besides park hill top area to .hately heath .harvills hawthorn.charlemont to.heath lane cemetery we used to mow we was based there .good times with my mowing buddies mowing around the area with cylinder mowers not rotary what they use now .hill top park good for the locals .
Lovely green space and the park looks well furnished for children which is good. I suppose all those exercise equipment makes the park useable by all so again a really good idea for these green spaces.
In the 70s we had a park on the Denbigh estate, which most kids went on, we had the witches hat, spiders web, swings and slide, then years later they built houses on it, most parks these days don't have what we had, kids could go and play on their own now we are frightened to let them out the house 😢

Agreed nel, Hill top park is a gem and seems hardly used

all very true that, its incredible how the world around us has changed in such a short space of time
Phil , the council health and safety people would have had a melt down at how dangerous our playgrounds were back in the 70's
The skatepark there is terrible. All of the skateparks in the area are the same. The council got robbed by whoever supplied that
I didn't look particularly good, I wonder who uses it?
