So Sam, like you rightly said, the Bible doesn't explain the nature of the angels but the church fathers, theologians and Sacred Tradition has taught us that the angels were not granted the Beatific Vision from the beginning. They did not "stand in His presence," (Lk 1:19). That gift was reserved for those who would pass the test (Matt. 5:8). Those who failed fell. Those who passed received the Beatific Vision. Now what is the Beatific Vision? It is Union with God that comes through seeing his face; that has the beatification can neither rebel now nor disobey God in the slightest bit ever again (1st Jn 3:2). Obviously this would override free will and that is why God does not give us the Beatific Vision from the beginning. He let's us go through trials and testing until we have proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that it's what we want; until our hearts are totally set on Him. At that point the Beatific Vision does not compel obedience but is received in love and eternal glory. At this point of receiving the Beatific Vision no angel or human being or saint in Heaven can ever disobey God again, because they have been brought into the Divine life of the Trinity where everything is perfect. I don't know why Sam needed "Wisdom of Solomon" when he could have used the canon Bible for this. God said, "More is given, more is required". Strange, I'm part of a protestant tradition, but I don't see myself represented by what Sam is teaching here. Protestantism is not only strict calvinism, there's a lot of nuance. Though for some forms he's right. However, This is the case for all mayor streams of tradition and substreams. To say Roman Catholicism or Orthodox are the only way to go, sounds too much like extreme forms of protestantism to me. God works with the willing, not necessarily with the ones who know it all (sounds familiar). And for many people they use their religion to keep God at a distance. Wrong, because the word used for "evil" in Isaiah does not refer to moral evil, but to natural calamity, not to mention the context of the passage being how God blesses those who are righteous or causes calamities for those who are wicked. Sam. I have come to the conclusion that sola scriptura cant be true. But i am protestant. I have recently heard of prima scriptura, mainly because of my reading a catholic apologist. But because i absolutely in no way can accept a number of catholic dogmas, i am stuck with prima scriptura that is with some traditions of the ancient church. my revolation from God. On the evening of Nov 1st 2023 just under a month after Israel was attacked, I was laying in bed with my wife Emily waiting for dinner to be done cooking. I then walked downstairs to check on the pizza and the pizza had a few minutes left. Listening to music and thinking of God and the oppressed people my soul was suddenly overwhelmed and i began thinking of my oppressors and yelling upwardly to God asking how much longer will they oppress me and the other saints. I then took the pizza out of the oven and set it on the counter, and paced the kitchen. The angel of the Lord then came upon me. My arms stretched apart, then together in prayer. Sham, the church in some countries you mentioned does not preach the Bible according to the Gospel teaches. Many people might be going to wrong direction/not teshuva. Ritual does not help people to repent/teshuva.

i think angels cannot be forgiven for 2 reasons: 1. they created not to be childrens of god and not have such authority and rights, they are servants. 2. they are witnessed the glory of god directly who knows how long at every day!

Because you don't want to. It's like putting your hands in the fire now. You already know it's wrong even though it feels nice to touch it at first. You just don't do it anymore. And if we have His law in our hearts and we love God then we would never do otherwise, because we know that what God says is true. We would obey naturally. The entire purpose of our life here on earth is to give us time to get it together and unite our will with the will of God. You seem rather confused to be upset that once you are eternally saved that you can't then choose to be damned instead. You will NOT make it to heaven if that choice isn't FIRMLY set to God's HOLY will and YOU WOULD NEVER want to change that once in heaven. It is a bit like winning a tennis match and being upset that you can't go back to choose to lose instead...God is so merciful and kind that He even allows us to go to purgatory to finish paying for our confessed sins instead of going to hell. You have some fundamental gaps you should really start to evaluate because these are basics.

You said God is so merciful that he allows us to go to purgatory to finish paying for our sins but this is not true, purgatory isn't a place that you chose to go to and you do not PAY for your sins in purgatory. People that go to purgatory are people that are still sinful, so all of us. What purgatory does is purify us from sin, not save us, remember your sin has already been paid for by Jesus Christ our Lord on the cross. Purgatory is a temporary state for souls in friendship with God who need cleansing from bad effects, mess, scandal and attachments to sin. When you die you can't expect to instantly be changed into something perfect otherwise you wouldn't be you, if you just think about it, when you die and stand before God, your still you, you still have an inclination to sin and you still make mistakes, although your sins have been paid for the side effects of it still linger, purgatory frees you from all of the bad effects and it isn't a choice you can make or something that pays for your sins. Here are some examples from scripture: Revelation 3:18 "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." Hebrews 12:5-11: this one's too long I'm gonna have to ask you to search it up 😅 Revelation 21:27 "And there shall in no wise enter into it (heaven) any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." 1 Corinthians 3:12-15: another super long one so I won't type it out but I'm sure you get the point by now have a blessed day 🙏 ❤

That said, when we sin there is a **debt** for each **CONFESSED** sin WE MUST pay called **TEMPORAL PUNISHMENT*** , and when we die as long as we die in His grace (no unconfessed mortal sins) we are sent to purgatory to finish our purification process which includes squaring the debt from past sins, venial sins and any other earthly attachments we may have. It is said by many theologians that each confessed sin is 7 years in purgatory. The point is God in his MERCY made purgatory instead of sending us to hell for venial sins etc. since NO impure thing can ever enter heaven. Could I have worded it better sure, but sometimes I forget so many people on here are protestants and need clarification that the person MUST be in a state of grace to make it to purgatory, but then again that should be a given since purgatory is a Holy place.

There are some angels who match descriptions of dragons, a saraph, theyre sometimes translated as fiery snake. Its possible this is what dragon, serpent, and leviathan are referring to, but we dont know for certain
If you are suffering from these things you are surrounding yourself with things/people that oppose God and He will NEVER force you to choose Him. Pray and ask God in His Mercy and kindness to help you with your issues. A secular life will always lead you into despair because that is one of satan's favorite emotions to use against people to make them believe they can never do good and that God will never forgive them or want them. @ hi thank you for this I do pray for guidance to suppress things like lust and anger They do come at times and I do get intrusive thoughts which isn’t a sin btw But I ask for forgiveness almost everyday and lately my anger has gotten better! But it won’t go away forever Today I was actually happy and yesterday too I did talk to the Lord today just talking but I hope to be more closer to him and have a better relationship but that will take time as it is hard for me to build a relationship with someone I can’t see or touch But i am learning the bible and have preached verses to others on TH-cam and outside TH-cam I want to be his good people and be a good Christian woman Sometimes I lose faith but I try not to I just need to trust him and Jesus loves me anyway but I still want to be closer to him I hope he comes into my dreams one day so I can see him and feel his love 🥰
I feel you man, I struggle with sloth as my biggest sin and sometimes I pray to God to move me around like a machine with no feelings. But we need free will so we can truly love, otherwise you wouldn't truly know you love someone, if you couldn't also hate him. One can't say a line is crooked unless he know what a straight line is. There is a famous saying of I priest I can't remember the name which is something like: If I had the power of God, I would made many things different. but if I had his wisdom, I would make things just like they are.

This may sound silly but what I do is I drink water throughout the day So I go downstairs and I drink a glass of water I leave the glass by the sink After I tinkle I go downstairs again and drink water and repeat the process I also read at least ten pages from my book I sometimes do the dishes if I see any in the sink whilst getting water I hoover my room too (Sometimes more than once a day so I leave the hoover in my room) Or I dance around my room I also watch videos that help me learn more about the bible and its verses I hope this helped ❤️
Don't you find it odd that the Hebrew bible has nothing even remotely resembling any concept of falling angels or devils bringing in evil or angels having free will or satan rebelling against God? Just think. If angels have free will and there are billions of angels, how is it that only one of them in history has ever decided to rebel? Doesn't that seem beyond silly?

But I do believe that our LORD uses evil to his benefit.The bible does not state anywhere that Satan was created good, or as the story goes, once a good angel, second only to God, then sinned and cast out of heaven. Angels can choose once to either follow or oppose God due to their perfect knowledge. There are no second chances. Thomas Aquinas refers to this as the three instances. 1. The Angel is created, 2. The Angel can reject or accept God, 3. The Angel is damned or beatified. Once Angels make a decision, it is fixed because of their infused knowledge. They made their choice with perfect knowledge so they cannot and will not repent.

From what I can tell, Wisdom of Solomon was written in the first century BC because of mentions of historical events that didn’t happen until then. It also uses several Greek words that weren’t around prior.
Fr. Kenneth Baker, S.J. author of "Inside the Bible" opines that Wisdom of Solomon was written potentially as few as 50 years before Christ. That makes Wisdom 2: 12-20 even more revealing.
I don't know why Sam needed "Wisdom of Solomon" when he could have used the canon Bible for this. God said, "More is given, more is required". The angels have been given enormous knowledge regarding creation and STILL they chose to rebel and go their own way. This is a very deliberate choice and so, they can't be redeemed because they don't want to. I then fell to my knees, and the glory of the Lord shone round about me: Immediately I was in the spirit. Clouds and a mist invited me up, while the winds carried me up tonthe throne of God and after revealed beasts with a lot of eyes everywhere and within. There eyes color was like unto the day sky. Like the beast and seraphim of Ezekiel which were round about the Throne. Before the Throne was a sea of glass like unto crystal, which divided the cheribum and the ophinum from the throne and seraphim above the firmament. The entire purpose of our life here on earth is to give us time to get it together and unite our will with the will of God. You seem rather confused to be upset that once you are eternally saved that you can't then choose to be damned instead. You will NOT make it to heaven if that choice isn't FIRMLY set to God's HOLY will and YOU WOULD NEVER want to change that once in heaven. It is a bit like winning a tennis match and being upset that you can't go back to choose to lose instead...God is so merciful and kind that He even allows us to go to purgatory to finish paying for our confessed sins instead of going to hell. You said God is so merciful that he allows us to go to purgatory to finish paying for our sins but this is not true, purgatory isn't a place that you chose to go to and you do not PAY for your sins in purgatory. People that go to purgatory are people that are still sinful, so all of us. What purgatory does is purify us from sin, not save us, remember your sin has already been paid for by Jesus Christ our Lord on the cross. Purgatory is a temporary state for souls in friendship with God who need cleansing from bad effects, mess, scandal and attachments to sin. When you die you can't expect to instantly be changed into something perfect otherwise you wouldn't be you, if you just think about it, when you die and stand before God, your still you, you still have an inclination to sin and you still make mistakes, although your sins have been paid for the side effects of it still linger, purgatory frees you from all of the bad effects and it isn't a choice you can make or something that pays for your sins.
Here are some examples from scripture:
Revelation 3:18 "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see."

That said, when we sin there is a **debt** for each **CONFESSED** sin WE MUST pay called **TEMPORAL PUNISHMENT*** , and when we die as long as we die in His grace (no unconfessed mortal sins) we are sent to purgatory to finish our purification process which includes squaring the debt from past sins, venial sins and any other earthly attachments we may have.
It is said by many theologians that each confessed sin is 7 years in purgatory. The point is God in his MERCY made purgatory instead of sending us to hell for venial sins etc. since NO impure thing can ever enter heaven. Could I have worded it better sure, but sometimes I forget so many people on here are protestants and need clarification that the person MUST be in a state of grace to make it to purgatory, but then again that should be a given since purgatory is a Holy place.

This may sound silly but what I do is I drink water throughout the day
So I go downstairs and I drink a glass of water
I leave the glass by the sink
After I tinkle I go downstairs again and drink water and repeat the process
I also read at least ten pages from my book
I sometimes do the dishes if I see any in the sink whilst getting water
I hoover my room too
(Sometimes more than once a day so I leave the hoover in my room)
Or I dance around my room
I also watch videos that help me learn more about the bible and its verses

@@Irenaeus_tx samyaza was the leader of the watchers. When he came to earth he brought 200 angels with him.
Lucifer or Satan was Gods 1st and most perfect angel he created. He was thrown out and 1/3 of all angels fell with him. He fell before samyaza so samyaza could not be the serpent. There were no daughters of men when Satan fell. Samyaza came to earth to be with daughters of men.

@@gipsymelody1268 I believe there were 10 leaders but I can’t recall all there names. Been some time ago I studied it. A lot of stuff in there to remember and the older I get the less I can recall.
