85% RTP is a good estimate.

Thanks. We've asked on multiple ships, if they are willing to divulge the RTP and on all ships they have declined.

@@cruiseswithfriends all the slot techs I ask either don’t know or say 85% overall.

Now if you can do a video on an estimated formula for table games That would be appreciated. Is there a certain weight that goes towards a high buy-in (i.e $3000 buy in of chips) vs betting high dollar averages ($50-$100+) vs just playing for a long amount of time vs losing big bets in a short amount of time.

We'll be doing some testing on table games in a couple of months time. The previous 2 cruises we looked high and low stakes slot machines.

$100 for 119 points? Only if you’re very lucky. Lately it’s been about 50 points for $100 in slots

This is the calculated statistical return. On the TA in April I spent $500 to get 200 points. The following sailing was $2,000 for 2,000 points. The first 1,200 points cost $500.

@@cruiseswithfriends yeah that sounds about right. Our last cruise we got a dollar per point and I thought we were pretty lucky at that. There were times when one point cost me two dollars.

It’s cheaper to just buy up the benefits and not gamble 😂😂😂

We'll do another video and blog on our experience over the last sailings using different strategies. If you can spend about $2,500 and get 2 complimentary cruises, one for hitting Prime and one Instant Cruise Reward then you're doing well. If you include the free drinks in the bar for over a year, it's not a bad return.
      But yes, it's a gamble.
