  • “It was like being stranded in the desert” Dad said while he was remembering when he first came to the US three and a half years ago. After suddenly being forced to retire due to his health condition (Thankfully he’s ok now), we urged mom and dad to come to the US to live with us.
While he was happy to live with us, he was faced with a completely new world where he wasn’t able to express himself any more. He didn’t know anyone. He couldn’t continue with his career as a doctor nor pursue his passion to share his faith with others.
In Korea, while always working overtime, he volunteered as a part-time pastor. He was always pouring his own money into people in need and his church so much so that people took advantage of him very often.
He was so passionate about helping people and sharing the joy he experienced in God. But when he came to the US, everything was gone and he couldn’t dare to dream about doing what he loves the most.
To his surprise, God provided him with a new Job of being an influencer in the most serendipitous way 😁. And with the love and encouragement from so many of you, he gained confidence to try sharing his faith in English with the world. Since his English is still in progress, he literally spent hundreds of hours practicing this talk.
I know you may not agree with things he is saying but it would be so nice if you could give him some encouragement. My hope is he would be able to keep pursuing his passion and dreams and I will forever root for him as he has always rooted for me in everything I did.
