I felt this story represents for most of us our life, we do the same chores of work every day and then have food and go to bed and wake up. We also have people around us who do the mess and we live our lives cleaning it up
First you think how futile, how sad and alone. Then you learn he is loved and his life brings happiness.
The way the moose was sleeping. He looked so comfy,it made me sleepy.

See how the deer tied things down? He wasn’t totally helpless. And the little girl shared her popcorn as they both watched a movie. Loved it!

We have been disconnected away from that Someone because of our Sin and have been blinded by the evil things happening around us introduced by the Ennemy(Satan = Destroyer) to destroy our image of that LOVING SOMEONE who gave His life to get us back to Him again.

I understood that, there is a reason behind everything that goes with us...and one day we will get the result for the hardwork and we will recognise why all this happened...i feel deer will be proud of himself at the last moment when he found himself becoming the reason for girl's happiness...next time onwards he will do the work with a happy face...

Me too! I live in a "not-snowing-country" and I'm not familiar with anything snow related. That's why snow globe didn't cross my mind.

Thank you for making this short film. I have been showing this to my students in human behaviour class when I teach them Perception and I find it very deep, motivating and moving.

This is the best illustration of simulation theory of the world.
The moose thinks he's living a regular life, but actually he's only a simulated player in a constrained environment.

I was thinking the same thing the whole time. I am the deer. I am only staying afloat by barely maintaining my existence and never truly getting ahead. The only difference is that my little girl shaking the globe has a name, it’s Attention Deficit Disorder.
I think that there is a message here the deer could easily give up and just stay in bed. But he happily accepts his existence toiling away shoveling snow. He seems content.

The problem always wants to drown us (images in the movie: the house sink under snow, snowball falling on the reindeer's head). As long as you stay calm, don't forget to love yourself (reindeer always sit on the chair, relax with a glass of water; sleep well and don't care about the big storm outside), you will be strong enough to find a solution.
Problems in life will repeat many times, we need to overcome that problem little by little every day, make mistakes and correct them, one day we will find a way to free ourselves from that problem.
The problem we encounter is not really scary because it can be an interesting story, making people smile.

Just enjoying nature. He seems to be a reader with shelves of books, all he needs is a dog!
It's 1:30 A.M. & 89° with a/c s running 24-7. I could stand that if just had a dog. Lived in Wyoming boonies one winter into summer & just loved it. Rest of family not so much. Was waaay away from everything. In spring we came outta town & the sheepherders & their dogs came down. Fun experiences.
I love how the deer just sleeps through the "earthquakes."
1. If you're finding it difficult to deal with a particular problem, make a change in your routine; that might do the trick.
2. If nothing changes-and you're still holding unto something with the hope that things will change-you might as well be doing yourself some harm. Life may be trying to teach you a lesson, and you may not be cooperating. If you learn to cooperate, things will change.
3. Repetitive challenges sure are signals for a change.

Watched this video for the first time today. As a guy from India i wasn't familiar with a snow globe until i came across this video. Tbh i experienced a certain dark emotion when i realized that the deer is trapped inside an artificial ball created by man, just as animals are trapped in this world dominated by man. Each time man causes any disorder, the deer (animal) tries to put it in proper order. It gets darker when the deer knows what's coming and is calm throughout, as if he knows his fate, but he tries to adapt each time. He tied everything with ropes to prevent any disorder, but fails each time. Still i could sense a positive feeling of hope towards the end when the little girl shared her popcorn. Certainly there are compassionate young people who are ready to save our planet. Great way to convey the deeper meaning. Carries a great significance in today's 2021. Kudos to the entire team!

Looks more like a llama with antlers than an actual deer. But, holy crap, living in that thing must be hell.

I've watched this a few times over the years partly because the way his nose wobbles about amuses me.
