Truly, have to agree with Scott. I have watched many videos of arrangements to Ysaye M Barnwall's lovely Wanting Memories. But Choral Chameleon's choreography of this arrangement is tranformative. Beautiful choral singing AND interpretive dance and video production adding to the effect of the meaning of the words. Thank you.
What I needed to see, hear, and feel today - completely filled my heart. Thank you, Isaye, for your continuing music legacy (added to your principal investigator lead on Gallaudet U.'s grant from my office OMH/HHS decades ago). Choral Chameleon's performance brought tears to my eyes - so beautiful...I will watch this again and again.
Bravo! This is a world-class video!! I'm so warmed to see what my fellow singing sisters, brothers, and loved ones in Choral Chameleon have accomplished in this...
This is a stunning and haunting version of a song that touches me in a way no other song does. The voices are perfect. So perfect that they don’t distract from everything else going on in this performance. The joy of this song is tinged with sadness now as I understand that Dr. Barnwell is beginning to slip into dementia. I am so grateful that I got to spend an hour or two with her once. A cherished memory that I hope I never lose.
