All they can do is connect a laptop and reset it. Absolutely clueless technicians. Fit and Finish is legendary as you mentioned! Spare costs and labor charges too are one of the highest in the market if not the highest.

Moreover inka after sales service me agar aapka patience nai toota to samajhlo aapko yoga and meditation karneki koi zarurat nai hai😂. This Indian brand is treating indian customers like shit, trust me.

U should have done a pre delivery check of ur vehicle......fit and finish issues must be pointed out during precheck..... because tata service is really bad
But how can the customer can expect that very small detail.. as this is highligted now.. next customer can carefully check all these issues while delivery time. If it was me, i will try to record all things in video before delivery.

Overall, I will not recommend you buying an EV especially if it is your first car. I have purchased an EV only after having a secondary option which is a diesel car. Charging time of this EV is more than 12 hours. It literally frustrates sometimes especially if you have an emergency. Range anxiety is really a thing you can't ignore😅.

Getting a Tata Car is lowkey like lottery, if you win you have the best build quality in the world. But if you lose, you have to deal with quality issues and plain harassment from the after sales staff

Every car company has 1 or 2 units that has some issues, not only tata. It depends on the customer and he should do PDI ( Pre Delivery inspection ) of the car he/she is getting.
What a slave mentality. If a person pays 15 lacs on a Car he is entitled to have a proper car period. Even if we go with your chalta hai logic a new car facing issues should be resolved immediately instead of "Sir, seniors are on leave please come back after 3-4 days.". Why are no backups for senior mechanics? When the customer actually finds out what is wrong and shows the manufacturing defect still the reply "We need to get the defect approved so please come back after 14-15 days."
Tata ke service center me sifaarshi log kaafi lage hote hai... kisi ne apna rishtedaar lgaa diya , kisi ne dost etc, kisi ko koi technical knowledge nhi hoti.... Tata ko apna hiring process change krna pdega.... bohat politics hai internally inke service centers me.... meri altroz me bhi steering ka issue tha ... jiska solution maine diya inko youtube se dekh kr... varna inke baska nhi tha thik krna.... the hire higly incompetent people ... I would say... Tata ki gaadi leni hai to thoda aapko hi technical banaa pdega or seekhna pdega ki how things work so that you can help service center to diagnose the issue😂. baaki sab thik h

I faced same problem as soon as I took it out of showroom. It was fixed after software upgrade and flushing ROM. It took around 3 weeks 🙂
