I play mobile exclusively. Since necro’s release, I’ve obtained my Zuk cape, cleared ED1-3, beat Raksha and hard-mode Kerapac, and learned how to use abilities efficiently, at a cost of under 500m GP. So much of this content was something that I thought would take several more months to get to because I needed billions to get armor and weapons. This combat style has helped me get into playing content with my clan mates that I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to do. They complain that it’s broken, but I’m thankful for the chance to actually be able to hang out with friends without spending months trying to catch up.
Much less "broken" than the original Animate Dead, at least. Let's leave things alone for a little while. I've never seen another gaming community complain about strong items, spells, and the like. It feels like .. purchasing a fast car, and complaining that it's too fast.
It's because the PVM elite don't want a lot of us to be able to do the content and lower their loot value since more people = more supply. It's just gatekeeping for personal gain.
You can get 15,892 lifepoints with 99 Constition, full Death Warden, Bonfire, Thermal spa, Font of Life relic, and Reaper Crew Strong perks for maximum defensive potential could be: Enhanced Devoted4, Impatient 4 + Devoted 4 Biting 4 + Crystal Shield1/Absorbative1, Relentless5 + Crackling4 Defensive Relic Powers: Font of Life, Death Ward, Blessing of Het Hellhound/Reaver familiar for tanking/extra healing. All of this plus the 30% dodge chance allows for very easy pvm.
I'm glad there wasn't a negative spin on this. As someone who was _never_ interested in PvM, necromancy has been getting me into bossing - and I always start a new boss in T90 tank gear first to get used to the mechanics. It's so forgiving being able to survive and actually learn the boss. I thought I'd be in T70 power gear forever but was able to upgrade it to T80, and I'm one Amby kill away from T90 power gear
Yeah this is the first time I've ever considered bossing. I've been playing for over 15 years and I went to gwd2 for the first time to upgrade my warden armor.
I’m not an elite pvmer and it’s absolutely broken it invalidates the other 3 styles. It’s better than BiS of the other three styles & less effort, that’s not healthy
Necro is incredibly broken right now, just because it helps newer people beat bosses easier doesn't somehow make it a good thing. Necro has made 3/4 combat styles almost entirely irrelevant. Millions of players have quit since necromancy/hero pass update so clearly most players aren't happy with it in its current state.
Been playing close to 20 years, just started Necromancy, and hot damn. Such a chill and easy style to play, but it's fun. I am a magic main, and I am tempted to main Necromancy, because of just how fun it is, not even because it is easy. It is everything I wanted, and to those who say its "Summoning 2.0", it's not even close. Like it has similarities to magic and you can summon spirits to fight for you, but it feels like its own unique style. I also like how we have rituals, they are a nice fun break between doing combat. Even if they nerf Necromancy to be on par with the other styles, I still want to play it just for the cool factor.
Coming from a non-sweaty casual, having a style and gear that allows me to take on bosses that are years-old with ease makes sense. @Init Yeah I'm interested that you didn't take on something you are uncomfortable at to see if it allows you to learn and improve at Zammy.
Now with blood amulet of fury and reaver heals Just kidding, that's nightmarishly broken everywhere Good tip for AFKing Greg btw, stay out of melee range so he won't use his mega damage attack and for Zuk waves scythe the tough mages to instantly run into their shields.
I’ve been thinking about getting the tank robe top and bottom, and use cinderbanes, and first necromancer crown and foot wraps. It’s a bit all over the place but I think it could be nice
I think you would benefit more using the handwrap than the cinderbanes, because it boosts the summons further, increasing even the poison damage done by zombies
I'm genuinely surprised they released in a state where the T90 armor abilities, both power and tank, are so much work for buffs that are worse than the incantations. Using T70 power armor with Darkness highly outshines T90 tank in DPS, and has twice the tankiness, unless you're doubling up for 30% dodge chance (which, when said out loud, is an absurd number.) Not to mention Darkness is hybrid. 20% dodge chance to the other three combat styles? Alright... Expect an Animate Dead-style nerf sometime in late 2024 or early 2025. 🤣 Honestly, they should double the tank armor buff per piece, and halve Darkness, but we all know they're going to nerf something first, in its stead (a la Ring of Death.)
Does the instakill thing from necro work on the black crystals at the final boss in ed1? Also can it skip the last 30k dmg you have to do to be able to jump up to those crystals?
@@LilTreProd honestly I can’t do ed1 but only ever attempted it for about an hour or so. So pretty much what I expected, it’d be interesting if it let you skip the end of the seiryu part itself
There's a setting where you can hover over items and it has like a tooltip. Every piece of Armour will have the damage reduction, HP bost, and it's stats on that tooltip.
@@Eyes0penNoFear the tooltip does work on mobile, but you have to tap and hold on whatever it is you're wondering about. Then, the tooltip should pop up in the bottom left corner.
Thanks for the video. Been investing more time in pvming with the release of necromancy. Finally got my fire cape and then the kiln one. Need Zuk now. Whatever people are saying I find the different waves not as easy as presented 😂 I hear that it is easier for people who are already able to do it but still struggling and I have never been able to kill it so far. Getting better and going farther but either the Jads or the mobs are getting me. Was able to do hard move arch glacor easily. Kerapac is ok even if I mess up sometimes. Hoping that the Zuk cape will help with rotation to increase my overall dps.
Don’t see this talked about. Morvans challenge enhancers. If your max and have the ability to access Motherlode Maw in Priff these enhancers will completely revive you while fighting Araxxi should you die. To full health to finish the fight! Wiki it. Hope this helps some folks out there.
I have the t90 power, tank, and a full set of t95's. As someone who doesnt own cryptbloom the t90 tank set is such a good alternative. I got it to be a main tank for raid bosses like Vorago, Beastmaster, Yakamaru, ect. Its awesome. Dont sleep on it.
Init, I am so bad at mechanics that I can't get a single Araxxor/Araxxi kill! I can dart right to phase 4, but even then Araxxi takes down my health too quickly. Help! Is it possible to tank phase 4? Possibly tank the whole fight?
Gotta prayer flick or just tank and soul split. I do it with mage but recently necro has been amazing. If you’re doing necro just make sure you have your conjures up with the ghost spec as well
Are you max cape? If you are mother lode maw has an enhancer for Morvans challenge. How it works is if Araxxi kills you, you are revived completely on the spot to full health! Depending how many charges you have you could keep dying ajd coming back to at least get that 1 kill under your belt. Look it up. Morvan enhancers
I thought necromancy’s primary purpose and push was to help new players get into pvm. I find it odd that most of the elite players and streamers are saying how broken it is. If they think it’s to easy why are they all using it. Just wondering.
@@valiantboreas I agree, I was just bringing up the fact that streamers and the elites are saying how op it is, like trying to get it nerfed, I thought the plan was to have a combat style that new players could get into, learn and still do decent bosses. If t95 can get you through hm zuk with just a reaver then there’s no need for super def armor. Lack of power is big at hm zuk anyway.
