I bartended for over 25 yrs... covid took the bar i worked at, and then myself out. When I semi recovered health wise, I started baking for customers n friends. I started with angelfood cake, then fudge n bundts. I've slowly through TH-cam university learned new cakes, pastries, candies, cake pops, and over the last year cookies. The cookies have been a labor of love. I honestly thinking I'm going more in the cookie direction. I hand decorate... I'm getting better. Just did an order for a baby shower, 3 dozen onesies, rattles, and mallard duck cookies, and 3 dozen cake pops. The week before a networking event for a bridal showcase. Hopefully I'll get more business from both. I'm in a 3 by 6 kitchen... 874sq ft house. I have baking stuff everywhere. I'm starting small...dreaming big. I'm glad you started your channel... thanks for sharing your knowledgeable and advice.

Thank you for sharing with us. You are a hard worker. No luck, all God. He has blessed you and your wife. You have encouraged me. I have the basics to get started. I just need the confidence to get moving. Baking calms me and satisfies my soul, baking, and with others is what I want to do. God bless and continued blessings to you.
Would love more info on where to shop as a home baker vs buying in bulk as a fully operated bakery shop. What products you feel are non negotiable. Packaging etc. ❤

Love these questions. Will add them to the list. Thank you! 😊
Great advice. Did you have a business plan to show the bank in order to get a loan?
Yes, for sure. You should create a business plan even if the bank that gives you the loan doesn't require it.
Where do you order your boxes? I love the black ones but have a hard time finding a good quality box. Please and thank you
Check out my Amazon store in my linktree on my page
