I had more then a pack of bobby pins in my hair 😂 it took my husband 40min it was painful, everything was sticky I had to wash my hair twice. The opposite of romantic. But it was worth it!!!
Can you show us a less elaborate version? Something that would work for every day? I've done a small twisty bun using my hair. I would to see this scaled back a lot for an everyday protective style.
It may cost a few dollars more but you can buy the already coiled hair (which comes in many different sizes and colors) and just pin in place, that way you can take it down and put it up at your own will. I have a formal event in a month and that is exactly how I'm going to do it. I'm going to buy the already coiled hair. I might even try with the butterfly loc hair.

Taking down weaved hair is very easy. Once you cut one end you can pull it all out with a finger.
Just cut it all. Your hair is underneath so it looks easy to me
