Allis Tractor & Roto-Baler History

  • Roy Vust and Gary Agrimson walk us through some of the Allis-Chalmers museum, looking at the early history of Allis tractors and the Roto-balers. The museum is part of the larger Fort la Reine Museum in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. This museum has quite a few rare items, including examples of the first three models of tractors Allis ever made, the 10-18, the 6-12 and the 18-30 as well as a Luebben baler, which was the prototype machine which later became the Allis-Chalmers Roto-baler.       As I understand that was a factory option for the wheatland special D17. Not sure if that set is original, but it could be.
