When I got my ST (full MBRP straight pipe) loved the crackles. After 5 months and no access port I'm getting rather annoyed with it. Great video as always
Fun little fact, unless you have installed one on your own, these cars actually dont come with an oil temp sensor. The numbers you get on the guages are actually estimates based off of other parameters the car does actually monitor. So for 1, coolant temp is better to watch if you wanna know when your car is warmed properly.
The oil temp reading on the accessport is pretty spot on accurate. I have an external gauge on my fiesta as I track it here in the hot Southern California weather.
One thing that people don't get is that the focus ST for the value today 2022 even. You cannot compare this car against any other turbo car. A GTI is expensive to fix and falls apart after it starts acting up plus they still make them. The WRX STI is way more expensive than the st and is expensive to fix and upgrade(compare to the RS) and the Hondas... Well again ..they still make those and are expensive as is. The type R is nowhere in this category. So if you ask me .. the ST is a perfect tuner car for years to come for the price and ease of upgradeability. If the engine goes out you can get the same engine from other Ford cars that share the same engine. Just throwing that out there because there seems to be a lot of haters that compare other cars with the ST and are nowhere near the same price point.

Just so you know every time you flash a new tune the Oct adj reading will go to 0.75 if you do a full wot it'll go to -1 every time
I noticed my goes to .75 when flashing it then once I drive around it goes to -1. Why is this? Is the reading of -1 legit?
