He also needs King Boo, Petey Piranha, King Bob-omb, Dr. Eggman, Dr. Wily, King K. Rool, King Dedede, (can anyone else think of anything?) and NOBODY (not even a TAS) can get Mario to defeat him.

Not if you use the infinite time glitch, as right before the timestamp I quoted. I was wondering what the green berry was for. But nathanisbored pointed out in a PM that the time was reset to 1 second after entering the next room, so that's why the berry was needed. I thought that something weird might have happened if you finished a switch palace with 0 time. Say, you quit with a time up (like when you die) instead of finishing the level normally, or something.

TAS is a different category technically since it stands for "Tool Assisted Speedrun", they are using an emulator with save states, frame by frame advancement and slowdown to basically get the perfect run. In the end, after they recorded the movie(the TAS), the video is replaying their inputs from each frame at normal speed and without the savestates(what I mean with the savestates is that after he continues and makes a new savestate, the most recent of the one before which led up too the new savestate will be played over and not all of them). This isn't hacking, and as I mentioned earlier, this is a completely different category then speedrunning.
