It’s hard to put into words the sheer quality of these interviews. As a fellow owner operator this episode was a knock out of the park! Andy, Dyllan - You guys are wonderful. I appreciate the shit out of what you do for me and the print community. My goal, to quote Dyllan: “were all good, we’re all happy, we all get raises, we can all have a happy life”
Sober 10 1/2 years, still have absolutely no regrets and never think about another drink, but also having ADD (too out of shape for the hyperactive) I find that having an addictive personality and ADD is an adventure. Don’t frown upon people drinking and can be around it with no urges but got boring after some years being only sober one, so addicted to work
You guys rule. I love the show. Can we please get a fucking Andy episode though? I want to hear his story. Dylan and Tony fish hosting Andy….. no bullshit. So far I’ve gathered that he hurt his back but got better, shirt kong is his second print shop, he used to have a ford explorer, his son is a press op at another shop, he’s an only child, and he loves cauliflower pizza. Solid One!, Boys! Meditation saves my ass daily - My ADHD brain needs something mindful for me to be at my absolute best, and meditation grounds me greatly. I can 100% relate to having the drive; after getting sober, I fell back in love with screen printing, and now I have the bug. Screen Printing saves lives!
I was meditating last night on our front porch, super relaxed watching the last of the sun, listening to the birds chat about the day and feeling the breeze across my face when a neighbor two doors down set off an M80. I just smiled though. Happy to be alive. Screen printing also saved me. Cheers!
