Hey Jay, new to your channel. I’m in Corona area. I’m looking to also jump to Turo. My concern is regards to vehicle break downs while the vehicle is still with the clients possession. If the vehicle passes the safety requirement and pre inspection and is good to go before the clients lease them and if per say the vehicle broke down because of electronic or mechanical failure due to the clients driving it unresponsibly now will they be held responsible for repairs or damages ? Does Turo themselves will cover the repair ? Can you kinda briefly explain that scenario ? I really appreciated. Thanks Jay. 👍
If you’re able to prove that it was the renter that caused the damage then you’ll have to decide whether you’d file a claim with TURO or directly with the renter. Most likely the renter will deny such claims so you’ll have to file a claim with TURO and pay your deductible. My advice to you before you list a used vehicle is do a major service on the car. Do a tune up, put on new brake pads, change the fluids, etc. I’m going to make a video about this because my car got unlisted due to not being able to do basic maintenance when I had the chance. Now my car is just sitting and not being rented out.
Thanks for video. What kind of car? Thanks
Very informative. Thank you for the video.
You’re welcome
