- The Australian Human Rights Commission is reportedly looking into One Nation Senator Pauline Hanson after drama on the floor of parliament over a tweet that's been branded as 'racist'. Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi, who was targeted by the tweet that started the row, joins us.

Yeah I don’t agree with it either but she was talking about the Queen as a symbol for the monarch, not as an individual. She was bringing light to the flaws of the monarch, that’s valid and reasonable considering her position. Racism runs deep in Australia, I'm born in England but a resident and citizen of Australia for 59 years, my partner of 20 years is also Australian citizen for more than 30 years, but is of Asian heritage, we were coming through brisbane immigration a just few years ago from a holiday in Europe, when we were pulled aside by an immigration officer, I thought they just want to do a random bag search , which I don't have a problem with, but no, she went on to ask how my partner and I knew each other , where did we meet and did we work together, as Australian citizens I said these were inappropriate questions, and told her it was none of her business, I eventually received an apology from the department after I made an official complaint.
