I see even in hight elo a lot of Luden build. I think Malignance is pretty good so i'm not sure to understand wy this choice. Have you an idea ? It's just about the dammages ?
I think it's because even if you lose a bit of AP, Malignance overall deals more damage (because of the pool it creates). Add to it, if Lux lands a Q first, enemies stay for a bit in there. Also, it gives ultimate haste and reduces MR. So everything is a win-win
