These tutorials are invaluable. Most of the techniques aren't that advanced which tells me that I'm just too slow in turning, recognition, look ahead, etc.
I dunno though... I didn't spot enough luck in this solve to be a trade off for the errors. Bare in mind though that I'm utterly clueless so there is a bit of a rift between our knowledge on this subject, so there's not really much point in me challenging you on this one :D

So zeroing on 4x4 is accidentaly pretending that an edge is solved when it's not.. in this case I do zeroing in 2/3 of my solves :P

Haha yeah - I honestly think I just messed up the edges and saved it, I'd normally always just go for either a Uw or Uw' right after the centers.

Why don't you try color neutral on Yau?
The benefit is smaller compared to colour neutral on 3x3, but I do agree that CN is faster - I just haven't spent the time to practice it just yet.
