.01mm runout??i thought schaublin is the etalon of precision.my new chineese lathe has 0.02 runout and my old russian lathe has 0.001 runout.bot maybe its problem with collet taper.aybe im wrong just interesting.thanks for uploading
And what your looking at isn't what the spindle run out is, since it's a used machine there's a rough spot or slight ding in that area of the spindle bore that's causing the indicator to flicker at that point during every revolution.
@@turningpoint6643 i think this is the collet taper that he checks,so that should be the most acurate part of that lathe.other than that its amazing lathe .i would sell my both kidneys for some schaublin lathe.little bit bigger ,150 maybe toolzon.com/upload/content/images/3640_img607-1.jpg
Hello Stefan, this Lathe is used many years. It is not new! maybe, somebody have doe a mistace... If they was new the nose prcision is less than 0.0005 mm!! (Yes, the mikron is even divided!!)

isn't the arm too long on that indicator?If it's longer than standard then you would actually have more runout

what dial test indicator did you use? chinese made?
he use TESA which is Swiss made

@@AliHureiby im using mitotoyo 0.001 mm resolution for run out checking.jeweled and im holding it very sturdy with my hand .
