Sadly what I wanted to accomplish (involves laser etching) is still elusive, but I can put a checkmark in that box thanks to you. I'm looking to apply (emboss, or use a decal, etc.) artwork to a cone and then unwrap that cone, altering/skewing the artwork. If I could emboss onto a cone and unwrap that to get an SVG or DXF file that has been skewed, the birds would sing. Is that possible?
Adding an Emboss to the sheet metal cone is possible. If you would like see how it is done, sent your Fusion 360 model and artwork to jhackney1950@gmail.com. I can pick up your email from that.
