In this video, I review four types of tissue.
Connective tissue, epithelial tissue, muscle tissue, and nerve tissue.
Tissues are made up of cells working together.

Epithelial Tissue:
Location: Covers the body's surfaces, lines internal organs, and forms glands.
Function: Provides protection, secretion, absorption, and sensory reception. It also acts as a barrier to prevent the loss of bodily fluids and the entry of pathogens.

Connective Tissue:
Location: Found throughout the body, connecting and supporting other tissues and organs.
Function: Provides structural support, binds and protects organs, stores energy in the form of fat, and participates in immune responses. Types include bone, cartilage, blood, and adipose tissue.

Hello im a new lpn student and my program is 15 months i have been a cna for 21 years and im finding it really hard to turn that thinking into how a nurse thinks ..im also having an issue with identifying and remembering cells and tissues are there any tips you can tell me that can help me remember and understand all the information that my instructors need me to remember ..i have been outta school for 8 years or so and did very well in my collage course .but this fast track lpn course is very over whelming ..thank you ..

Muscle, surrounding heart (because cardiac muscular tissue)
Nervous tissue is probably in the brain I would imagine
Epithelium is akin
Connective tissue is in and around blood vessels

Good question. Tissue is more than one cell working together. Blood has white blood cells,red blood cells, and platelets all working together.
