Today, there is grass to cut and a water mine to clear out so it's out with strimmer & syphon
I also respond to a really useful comment left by a subscriber on my video on growing seeds from supermarket produce
We embarked on our journey from England to picturesque rural Portugal #SerraDaEstrela two years ago. It's been a rollercoaster of challenges and delights!

Thanks to you - I am always learning...it's what keeps me young despite the ridiculous beard!
Stunning moth/butterfly you showed there! We have cloudy but hot weather here now,
Sun at last!!
@@howardsportugal nice - we have clouds
Sandstorm?Eid Mubarak from over the border 🙏
You wanted too know how the no dig was going. Very few weeds, but not very good germination and slo growing compared to normal. T the moment digging is in fron because the ground isn t compact.. Well I.m sst in shade as is pritty warm. Apples, keep an eye open when you have flowers as there is a nasty beetle aboit which will eat both pollen and staymen before the bees have chance to do their work. I spray them, but too many, so walk over and pick them of and kill then about 30 so far today and yet too walk over again yet. Toms planted out and staked now. 21 or 70 today warmer to come for next few days.
Nice to hear...certainly enjoying the warm sun up here!
Crack on there Howard you have about 2 weeks of hot, dry weather to get it all done before the rain returns.. By which time I hope to have some new spuds ready as I hate buying from the shop as have run out.Plumbs are all set so are the cherries and apples in full bloom so this sun will hopefully give me a good set if I can keep these dam little greed beetles of them as the eat the stamens before the bees have chance to do their job.
Good luck with spuds & fruit set!!
