A brilliant piece of test equipment unimaginable a few years ago. Also a similarly brilliant demonstration of it, with a straightforward analysis of its capabilities and weaknesses. An excellent and helpful video all round ! Thank you for that !
Great video and indispensable tool. I have an earlier well-worn version with more limited capability and this video has convinced me that I need to upgrade. Unsure about battery life on this version since it has the pc interface, but I seldom have to replace the batteries on mine.
Hi there, good video ...Must say. Also I have one suggestions for you ....The voltset company's portable mobile based multimeter cum oscilloscope. Please do make a video on that as its highly recommended and requested
"only available for Windows" the amount of my sorrow -> th-cam.com/video/5Ioiag30eAI/w-d-xo.html btw, a curve tracer is super handy, especially if cheap, the fact that you are not gonna blast 100 amps on a power mosfet is relative, the datasheet may not be (i'm not sure) totally comparable AND if you have working specimens of the same transistor to compare it's easy to tell if it's a bit roasted or 100% in shape, i faced this "problem" a couple of times, easier to use diode drop voltage test on a BJT but a mosfet requires a basic circuit
I don't see how a general purpose device could ever cover all types of parts. One of the most effective method for ICs is to x-ray them and verify the die is the correct size.
James talks more about MOSFET datasheets, the curves you find, and how to read them in this element14 post: bit.ly/2YIE1jr

I bought the Peak Electronics DCA75+LCR45 Atlas pro pack last week. What a coincidence. Video about the LCR45 coming up?😃
Cute that it identifies LEDs. Based on the forward voltage, couldn't it guess their color?
can it identify transistor part number?
I need this in my life
Good idea that wishes list...

The shirt.. where do I buy this shirts
Google it. Prices vary according to where in the world you are.

I have to use Huntron to test
If its software were available for Linux I'd but it right now.
We REALLY NEED an affordable Semiconductor / IC Tester that Identifies FRAUDULENT PARTS! ty

They need new firmware.
Costs 120 EUR.
