Rix FM (stylized RIX FM) is a national commercial radio network. The channel is broadcast all over Sweden from 1 August 2018. Today, the station reaches approx. 1.1 million unique listeners every day and approx. 3.1 million unique listeners a week. The network was operated by MTG, but is now operated by Viaplay Group.
Rix FM started broadcasting in 1993 under the name Radio Rix. On January 29, 1996, Radio Rix merged with the then Z-Radio, which changed its name to Sweden's new radio P6.

Follingbo is the 260 m (850 ft) high transmitter. It became operational on 24 December 1959, and has since then been used for broadcasting television and radio to all of Gotland.

This Follingbo transmitter in island of Gotland is the first thing when comes to main Swedish national programs like SR P1, SR P2, SR P3 and SR P4.
