Thaddaeus Lancton, MIC, as they talk about “Keepin’ It Marian,” showing how we can best imitate Our Lady and her virtues amid the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, meditating on the Word of God and pondering it in our hearts. As they study and dialogue about the Scriptures, this dynamic priestly duo shares the riches of the charism, patrimony, and history of their Congregation, the Marians of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Today, Fr. Thaddaeus and Fr. Timothy discuss the Marian charisms and ponder the incredible trust required of Mary in the days after Jesus’ birth.

I often meditate on the few things in scripture that we know about our blessed mother. Being a woman myself I long to know how she felt and how she handled all those difficult things she had to do with Joseph to keep the baby Jesus safe. I share with her the hardship of having to pack up her life to rush off to Egypt. It had to be pure faith to leave all you know and face the unknown. Hay mamacita!

Mary was seeing unknown Sheperds and was ecstatically praising God for the gift of Jesus. She is without sin. No doubt in her. No fear of strangers. She was chosen because she was the only one capable of being the Theotokis. As being born in original sin we can only imagine a perfected souls reaction since we don't have chapter and verse on her response to events. Because when WE ponder she joins us and leads us in a relevant manner to her Son. Relevant to our lives. Relevant to our hearts. Our time in God's plan. The music found on the Tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe couldn't have been found except for this century. And all the other findings. Same with the stereographic images found in the Shroud of Turin. There's a reason that it's being discovered today. And there's a reason that Sister Willhemina Lancaster was found not to be decomposed when she got dug up north of here in Gower Missouri, which is in my diocese. Miracles gotta happen someplace. Ain't no coincidence with God. Anyhoo it's about time we get back to the wonder of that first Christmas. Glad you Marians are obedient 😊 I'm doing my best to get to know Mary better. Thank you for your podcast and I'm spreading the word about it to the other folks at church.
Forgot to tell that ain't nothing been determined about Sister Lancaster but they did put her in a glass doodad like some of the incorruptibles. So again it's just a real head scratcher for the Church right now. I wasn't trying to imply it was a miracle. But if it walks like a duck.... Just saying God is full of surprises.
