Imagine if all villages and cities of our world are like this beautiful responsible village people. Ancestral tradition all over. We can do anything if and when we live in harmony with Nature. Nature is the highest ideal. Thank you for this great video.
+Tushar Guha How do the people of Shillong (or anywhere in Meghalaya) treat elephants that walk through the area? I hope no one there keeps elephants captive. Please tell me how the people there treat them. Thank you.
Most indian people will comment here wow, amazing, beauty!!!!!! Etc etc BUT THEY ARE NOT READY TO DO FOR THEIR OWN PLACE EVEN INDIA'S prime minister recently launch clean india campaign but people and some opposition parties think that it's just drama MUST VISIT GANGA RIVER WE KILLED OUR GANGA RIVER NOT ANY BODY ELSE
@@randomstuffswithrrd its funny to call other indians as uneducated because many states in india has better HDI, education and better infrastructure. YES this place is beautiful ( thats why cleanest place in ASIA ) but cant say same about whole northeast.
What i really appreciates is that the people of the loved village are extremely lovely in heart to follow and works together as in unity..i am extremely moved.
This is such a lush and beautiful ''Eden''. How can people even think to litter? There should be a law with a fine, when going into a forest. You leave with the things you came in with. They even weave those baskets for people to use, so why is it so difficult for tourists to follow?
thank you very much for uploading this.....i was so overwhelmed .........beautiful ....hope we all grown and stop littering this place...n respect locals effort to keep this place green and clean ....
I feel very proud myself that I have spent my service life in Meghalaya and now staying in Birati, a dirty town of North 24 Parganas but very adjacent to Kolkata International Airport.
People says they are different from Indian .yes we are Indian because we live in India . But our ancestors are not Indian . We became Indian after India got its independent
I had one semi dry chicken recipe with paratha there, at a local food joint near root bridge.. still trying to find that recipe... Mostly it was only prepared with garlic, mustard oil, red chilli etc.... If anyone knows about it, please do share.... Thanks in advance
+Alexander Kharkongor Please tell me how the people in this area treat elephants that walk through? Do they chase them or mistreat them? Do the people in this area keep elephants captive? I truly want to know. Thank you so much for answering my questions in detail, and thank you also for the very beautiful video.
First of all there are no elephants in this part of the region... Elephants are found towards the plain region like Assam, some parts of Garo hills region, West Bengal, and other parts of the world..etc. And of course, some elephants are held captive some roam the wild Eg. Kaziranga National Park, some are used to assist humans in their needs some are poached for their Ivory by poachers, some are free and wild. So the your question whether in our region is there elephants? NO..I hope your queries is answered
I respect the copyright issues, Mr. Alexander Kharkongor, Can I please take a few seconds from your beautiful videos for my project. Merely 30 to 35 seconds max?
i don't think they are classified as indian people. these people look like more of a burmese highland people. india should give independent to this land and people and its neighbouring like nagaland, assam and manipur
No. It's because of the strictness of the elderly menfolk there. This is the only clean village in the whole of matrilineal Meghalaya. All other places in the state are as dirty as shit.
