Granted, I only watched it 2 or 3 times total, but I'm pretty sure her full name is said at least once during the film. It's just as well if a female character in a Michael Bay movie didn't have a last name at all, since they're usually just there for their power to command boners.

Well considering this whole series and everything that transpires from the sequels, this movie is definitely watchable lol at least compared to literally every single sequel of this movie.
Fun fact: the reason for the blue flames is because of lighting/camera problems. Turns out red paint is extremely reflective, and the only way to stop it from screwing with the cameras was those blue flames.
It's the only good thing about it, I don't think anyone sleeps on it, but it's like The Last Airbender, I don't want to have to watch this movie just to hear the good music

Not because it’s some mind blowing twisty story....but because it nailed everything it aimed to do and brought the transformers to life in a way that visually blew everyone’s mind. Those graphics weren’t as prevalent back then people were seriously impressed with the look and sound of the movie which created a very unique feel. Air bender was just trash all around
The Scorpion battle scene in the desert is my highlight of the franchise. You can see everything and know what's happening, wide shots so you know who is where, soldiers are badass, military planes are awesome, scorpion transformer looks great. All downhill from there.

Like this is the only film in the series where you can really tell the Autobots and Decepticons apart, the battle scenes aren’t jarring shaky cam messes, the plot, while simple, isn’t as incoherent as the others and Sam is probably at his least annoying in the series

Honestly the scene where they's sneaking around Sam's garden is pretty funny. It's kinda refreshing seeing Optimus bumbling around instead of always being stoic. It's hilarious.
It's a shame there's never a follow up on what became of Dispensor in the movie. Maybe like an end credits scene of him settling down with candy-vending machine and making little coffee-vending machine babies.

The sound design and the actual transformations were alwaysss on point I can’t lie & I loved how they incorporated the old school sound from the cartoons 🙌🏽
When coupled with the visuals the sound design is equal parts eargasm and terrifying. Like you know that if your hand got caught in one of these things as it transformed you would never see it again.
I don't know about anyone else but i never had a problem telling the Decepticons apart in this movie. Then again, I did spend literal days going over the Transformers Movie visual guidebook over and over again, as well as playing with all the video games and toys, so i think i might be a bit biased

I honestly don't think it's difficult at all for anyone who's paying any attention to the movie. In the sequels it's very obvious that any unimportant decepticons are scanning/transforming into the same three or four vehicles and have similar bodies.

Beast Wars was the best iteration. The toys were god tier as a kid. Optimus was an ape, bumblebee(or whatever he was called back then) was a cheetah, and megatron was a t rex and it was glorious.

Most of the known ones with color schemes are easy to tell apart. But the Metallic colored decepticons, with the exception of Starscream and Megatron are especially are impossible to differentiate. Especially when they're all in the same frame, there are explosions everywhere, the camera is shaking like crazy and Shia Lebeouf is screaming OPTIMUUUUUUS

Transformers 2007 had so many memorable moments. All the times Sam said no, the first time we see the autobots, the fights, the car sales man, and can't forget I ate whole plate the whole plate.
I wanted to love the movie, especially after that web teaser that debuted in summer '06. If MB had only respected the lore (and thereby the fans from back in the day, i.e., G1) a little more, I'd have stan'd Transformers way more than I wound up doing. It's a 7.5 out of 10 for me. Had no desire to see any subsequent live action movies in the series, save Bumblebee once the positive reviews started coming in.

3rd one was decent. it tried to resolve criticisms from the second one, but in return it came up with it's own massive problems.. overall the first one is the best, as far as Bayformers goes

Beast Wars was the best iteration. The toys were god tier as a kid. Optimus was an ape, bumblebee(or whatever he was called back then) was a cheetah, and megatron was a t rex and it was glorious.
Those were completely different characters. That wasn't Optimus Prime, or Bumblebee or Megatron.

Most of the known ones with color schemes are easy to tell apart. But the Metallic colored decepticons, with the exception of Starscream and Megatron are especially are impossible to differentiate. Especially when they're all in the same frame, there are explosions everywhere, the camera is shaking like crazy and Shia Lebeouf is screaming OPTIMUUUUUUS

I remember really enjoying this movie when it first came out. But after the bad sequels the flaws in the first one really stand out.
Transformers 2007 had so many memorable moments. All the times Sam said no, the first time we see the autobots, the fights, the car sales man, and can't forget I ate whole plate the whole plate.

Bumblebee pees on a man
I wanted to love the movie, especially after that web teaser that debuted in summer '06. If MB had only respected the lore (and thereby the fans from back in the day, i.e., G1) a little more, I'd have stan'd Transformers way more than I wound up doing. It's a 7.5 out of 10 for me. Had no desire to see any subsequent live action movies in the series, save Bumblebee once the positive reviews started coming in.
I know the later movies went off the rails but you can’t ever convince me this movie sucks haha. Too much nostalgia. It came out when I was 6/7 and i think i watched it like 100 times back in the day, it basically defined my childhood.

I once cut out all the scenes that didn't have the autobots from this movie and it was 20 minutes long and still made sense as a complete story.

@@peanutbutter7721 no not at all, given they all have very different transformations: Tank, minesweeper thing, jet, helicopter and police car. the confusion stems form that they called brawl devastator in the film so people think theres an extra decepticon thats looks like brawl.
