too much karate, but less kobudo i can see here. Thats always the problem when we karatekas doing kobudo! And its a huge and common mistake! The Protagonist should always be the weapon not only the Dachi!!!
All I know is that Master Ken wouldn't waste his time with bullshit martial arts like this. I barely saw any strikes aimed specifically at the groin region.
@@aiko4321 If I'm not mistaken, it's not his Bo. He borrowed it from another competitor who had finished his round because he broke his own Bo when warming up.
That is a tapered 6 foot 2 pound bo. It has to be standard for that competition. There's a sticker wrapped around the end showing that it has been weighted and measured by judge officials.
@@abdillahazhar1833 what was his No made of Pine?, I have a Red Oak No from Okinawa, no way are you going to break that, to me that Bo he is using is not red Oak, but rather some light wood Like Pine.
"Mr. I am the greatest" looks like shit here. He does not land on the technique, and his upper and lower body are disconnected. One would think that "Mr. I know everything" would realize that techniques start from the ground up in a continuous chain of actions. The body (hips especially) move the arms; the arms do not pull the body.
I watched the video several times and it looked like a good presentation. I noticed both intention and flow of the movements. The weapon is merely and extension of the body. No idea about the hips. I worry more about my center of gravity in relation to my opponent's center of gravity.
Looked great Jesse!!!
A privilege to see. Thank you.
great bo performance, Jesse! congratulation!
Well done jesse enkamp
JESSE!
for this competition the BO had to meet minimum weight and length.

What kind of toothpick is he holding, that's no 6' Bo
I'm pretty sure it's 6 ft (rokushaku bo). Also, there was a standard minimum weight for the bo used in the tournament.
6' tappered bo within the standard for the competition.
