    Hello, wonderful explanation of tying - thank you. I was wondering if you share where you source your authentic beads? I’ve been searching for a supplier everywhere but I’m having a hard time finding one that’s well reviewed…

    Wow. What a lot of work! I am making bracelets and necklaces for my Grandaughter's Barbies. I made the mistake of using seed beads. It took me hours to make several. Is there any trick when using seed beads?

    • @GreenWitchMystics
      @GreenWitchMystics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve never used seed beads but I have seen people use a bead wheel for those which makes it much faster to create

      Same issue I ran into today 😪🤣 lol they use 0.2 mm cord for making rings and a lot of other seed bead projects.
      I just ordered some cord that'll be here tomorrow.
      For now I'm gonna use the cord I have to make these beautiful bracelets 💗

    Which beads do you glue? Is there a way to hide the glue once it’s dried? Got a little confused with the glue part. Does it make the bead stay stuck to the elastic?

    • @GreenWitchMystics
      @GreenWitchMystics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No glueing the beads your just glueing the knot!

      Since I make a living off my jewlery and crystal business I can’t disclose that! I do sell crystal bead strands on my website for jewelers to purchase

    • @GreenWitchMystics
      @GreenWitchMystics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Most legitimate wholesalers will require a business license and tax ID. There’s TONS of gem shows multiple times a year in every state. You just have to put in the time to make connections and do your do diligence

    How many strands should you use?

  • @christineelias-harmonioush7482
    @christineelias-harmonioush7482 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    do you thread it again with another piece of thread? or is the original thread long enough to go around twice or three times. This is my first time making a bracelet 😊

    • @GreenWitchMystics
      @GreenWitchMystics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You thread it with the same string! Two times is enough but three if you want it extra secure. It won’t be as stretchy 3 times through and depending on the bead/thread size you’re working with you may only be able to do it twice 😊 hope this helps

    can i use nail polish instead of jewelry glue?

    • @GreenWitchMystics
      @GreenWitchMystics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely wouldn’t. You can use a jewelry or all purpose contact glue like E-600 those are designed to be water proof and also can be flexible after it’s dried which is important for bracelets. I would imagine nail polish would chip off very shortly after it’s dried

    is the glue really important with that kind of thread? Or is it okay to not use glue? thank you so much❤️

    • @GreenWitchMystics
      @GreenWitchMystics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve never not used the glue so I can’t say how strong it is without it. If you want to test it out try making one for yourself and wear it in everyday life, take it off and on frequently, wear it in water to see if it is still secure

    When I hear crystals I think faceted glass or a semi precious gemstone that's got several sides and comes to a point. These to me are just semi precious gemstone beads. I'm not trying to be rude or sound unappreciative, I just found the title a bit confusing. Thank you for the clear instructions and close view of your methods.

    • @GreenWitchMystics
      @GreenWitchMystics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Crystals are any mineral formed into a crystalline structure, they can be carved into beads and any shape! Gemstones are typically cabochons, facets or some sort of polished high grade mineral. Gems are usually crystals but not all crystals are gems. Crystal, minerals and glass can be cut into a faceted beads or round beads. Hope that clears things up :)

      I’m sorry you feel this to be too much for you! It’s the best method to ensure a secure bracelet but you can always just loop it once and follow the rest of the steps :)
