Ashland Train Day 2018: 23 TRAIN MARATHON!!!

- Central Virginia's premier annual railroad event took place on Saturday November 3rd in Ashland VA. For the 16th year in a row, Ashland Train Day attracted thousands of people to celebrate the town's rich railroad history.
Throughout my day (6:30 am - 8:30pm) I caught 23 trains on CSX's RF&P sub. (+ 2 more on the Buckingham Branch). All 23 trains that came through Ashland Virginia are showcased in this video here.
You will see massive CSX freights with a high and wide load, stunning hornshows unmatched anywhere else, and popular east coast Amtrak trains like the Auto Train, Silver Star, and plenty of Northeast Regionals.
Please enjoy the incredible hornshows, fantastic trains, and the unique experience that is Ashland Train Day.

As I'm not a seasoned pro and didn't have a scanner, could you supply me with the train symbols that went through there from 9:30am-5:30pm? Some of them I knew because of Amtrak's tracker, one others because of veteran railfans kind enough to put up with me.
I’d recommend just skipping around and watching my video. I put the train symbol and info on it at the beginning of every new clip as the train is approaching. That’s probably my best advice! Any specific trains just ask and I’ll be happy to help!
I was the one in the red sweatshirt (I took it off and had a blue shirt in the afternoon) and white hat on throughout the day. I mostly was hanging with the crowd across from the station.

CSX Peninsula Railfan Amtrak P080 Carolinian. I missed that train because I went up to Doswell to see a empty CSX grain on the Buckingham Branch RR
