ive had my BOLT for 7 years and just clocked 37,000 miles.Still runs like a watch. All i have added is an American MUSTANG seat and American VANCE & HINES EXHAUST.The longest journey ive done is WALES to SWEDEN and back ...2,338 miles.The YAMAHA BOLT was made for me!!!
The Bolt is a really great cruiser bike from Yamaha. The engine has a wonderful power band and a joy to ride. The motor is air cooled which is good too. One less thing to worry about when you don't have liquid cooling. The exhaust note is super sweet to the ears. Acceleration and cruising speed are both impressive. The price point for this machine is very competitive and one of the nicest machines of this size you can buy if your budget is tight. The sister bike to the Bolt is the SCR950 Scrambler. They share the same engine and are both fun to ride. I own and ride both of them.
First the Speedo quit recording mph and indicators. After replacing with new/oem used speedo I opened original. Corrosion in speedo. Suspension sucks. I'm not overly impressed. My previous Honda Shadow bikes much nicer. New Rebel 1100 is next bike.
@@DorranceALong Rear suspension is made for smooth roads. You are right about that. I can't argue about Honda. They are and always have been one of the best motorcycles you can own.

Não vende moto custon ou cruiser, não porque não tenha publico, mas porque simplesmente quem curte custon compra outra coisa se não tiver o que ele quer e pras montadoras sai muito mais barato manter estoque de poucos modelos. Alias, esse modelo ai é cruiser, custom se você customizar ela.
I think its a pretty Bike. HD is so expensive and the Yamaha its so good like HD. But yous americans dont like anything of nothing made in another Countries.
Nice looking bike!!! Seems, though, like the manu. could do better job with Air Intake (kinda in way, move it forward somehow) and Exhaust (the exhaust issue is same with almost all new bikes though).
