  • Watch in High Quality! I went down to the freight yards in San Diego in an effort to see some switching. Unfortunately, not much switching was going on at the moment. However, I did manage to catch the following trains.
    Trains:
Train 1: Patched Santa Fe GP60 8736 and freshly repainted GP50 3203 pull off of one track and couple onto two depressed flat cars with loads that look like large engines wrapped in tight plastic. Nice K3LA on 8736.
Train 2: BNSF ES44DC 7741 with a nice K5HL leads a cut of 4 articulated autoracks to the national city auto facility. ES44DCs 7718, 7703, 7745, 7773 and 7738 were trailing. Nice GE compressor Whoop at 3:14.

    Enjoy!

Nice! Wow, six 7700's all together. Those are Automax cars. They're taller than regular autoracks.

Cool! The 8736 is my P2K prototype!

Yeah I did. But I heard it honking. As soon as I heard it, I though "cool a P42 is running. Shoot, I'm missing it!"

Nice video. The classic power seen is making me wonder why BNSF won't put classic power on the Daygos like the GP60s, GP60Ms, GP35s, etc.

The pumpkin is a GP50 but it's designated as a GP25, must be a misprint.
