Sounds like it’s either over reving or your belt lash isn’t set right on primary your belt should be like a quarter inch more then flush. That’s on the primary you just tighten the lash screw to get the belt tighter in the primary

If that doesn’t fix it from over reving then you’ll need to add weight to the clutch
