@@rikkukumari9158 you might have mistaken faber castell with camlin!! In my opinion camlin color pencils are way more poorer than faber castelle!! Its difficult to sharp camlin color pencils cuz their leads break often due to poor quality wood! so I switched over to faber castelle pencils even though its quite expensive !😊

I am used to fcc. I find them good enough but they are higher priced in my country.
Than I saw a video comparing them to the doms. So I bought the doms for a really cheap price.
And I actually found both FCC and DOMS to be similar except for the fact that I loved the white doms much better for blending at the end.

The minimum thickness is 200 gsm and if you don't want to spoil the back of the paper use watercolor paper

Camlin good for portrait drawing?
POINT TO NOTE: please be cautious while buying camlin colour pencils, there are rwo types
1) camlin hexagonal and,
2) camling triangular.
i bought camlin hexagonal and those pencils are of very poor quality, it made me disgust, the camlin pencil shown above is triangular ones.

But the lead breaks too often
I dont know if my camlin pencils are defect on not but the lead is too weak every time i try to sharp the lead breaks and if i manage to sharp it the lead breaks afterwords i try to draw with them

It would have been better if you had used blue fabercastelle instead of violet for comparison. The ultramarine blue is a great colour in the set. But still nice vedio.

In my opinion doms are the best because of easy blending and it also work with colorless blender over laying also it has smooth texture, i've used faber castell too they're also good but ill choose doms over faver castell.
