Yesss. Flawless performance with prerecording is good for showing off the dance and everything but nothing beats hearing the raw vocals.
All their live performances were live, even the rehearsals and fansign events. Rocky still pulls off that high note every time, but yeah, at some point we got worried about his voice. He's just so amazing. ㅠㅠ I hope he gets to sing more in Astro's future songs.

As a rocky bias, I can feel what you feel!!!! He is just so amazing! Jinjin and Rocky are really the best performers, their live performance amazed me every time!!! Jinjin's deep voice and Rocky's vocal is such a blessed voice
There is a video they uploaded the day or so after the music video dropped where they recorded the process of recording this song. And Rocky sang that note over and over again, it was really impressive.

There is a studio behind the scenes video for this song because Jinjin and Rocky wrote and produced this song themselves. They sang live for all their performances. Rocky is an amazing singer and it’s strange to think he’s usually a rapper. Jinjin is second-oldest (MJ is oldest) and Rocky is second-youngest (Sanha is the maknae). Would love to see your reaction to Dance War, where all the dancers are masked, and see if you can spot Rocky in the mix! :)

The dance practice is so damned impressive, I can't say that I've seen a dance practice where there's singing throughout, but it does make sense given how many times they ended up performing this live. I mean, if you YT search, there are like, 20 performances, from stages to special shows. Really glad you reacted to this! I knew you were going to like the live practice. I honestly haven't listened to any Astro songs before but this song's pushing me over the edge, it's just so fun.

Thank you for reaching to Rocky and JinJin! Yes they are amazing. Now I really need you to react to their live performances of other songs from this same album, Restore. Rocky performed CPR and JinJin performed Lazy live during their debut showcase and both were AWESOME!! If you like vocal Rocky and cute JinJin you'll love both!
Random fun fact: there is also a version of the dance practice where Rocky literally ripped his pants doing the split and then kept going. You can watch it in one of their Astro Play's and you should because it's hilarious!

ASTRO did a special stage performance of "Replay" a few years ago. This was the first time I heard Rocky singing. The performance was really good.
