I rarely ever comment, but this video hit home for me. I’m a fairly new dad, my son is 2, and I’ve been bodybuilding for about 4 years now. It’s tough trying to balance work, school, bodybuilding and devoting time to my son. This video motivated me to just be the best person I can be, grind hard, keep doing what I love to do and be the best dad my son can possibly have. Thanks for the little pep talk. Your like that one bad ass uncle that has to knock sense into your head every now and then, especially when you start to not feel motivated anymore because life can be physically and mentally draining. Much love from Los Angeles big Seth!💪🏼✊🏼💯

RIPKEE4 congratulations on being a new dad! I have three grown daughters of my own. I love to hear about the experiences that other dads have raising their kids. You talk about being worried that you have a hard time balancing work, gym and family life. I can tell you that even though being at the gym or going to work takes away time from your family, the examples that you are setting for your son is a lesson that he will carry with him for his entire life. I guarantee you that when he is old enough that he will be right there next to you at the gym!

Im doing anything i can to make ends meet until someone finally answers me on a job.. i feel like giving up but i cant give up on my family. Best video you've ever made. I've been struggling this year pretty bad. I went from an amazing relationship and our amazing kids to everything falling apart. My gf is dealing with extremely bad anxiety and depression which came out of nowhere. So I have to walk a fine line of being there and knowing when to give enough space. I have to keep my emotions in check because even though I'm hurting in this situation it's not about me at the moment. I have to still be dad and pick up the slack. Now work is going to shit as well. The gym is the only thing that keeps me from imploding in on myself. Thanks for the talk!

I hit a rut in my life and talking about getting your mind right! Hitting 3 years of sobriety, I have realized how much anger and fucked up shit I thought about was greedy and about me. Until I was able to start thinking about others, especially my family, I had to look at myself. In my mid 40s now, I find time to hit the Kunkpound once I get home. Going down to the basement once I do my 5 hour commute to and from work takes some serious discipline. I have to admit once watching Seth's vids, I have something to help drive me. I love my land and the work I provide around our farm for my Wife and Daughters and with it is that drive and reward. Keep running and fucking shit up. Thanks Seth! Your the real deal. Axe and Sledge! Thank you for giving me what I needed to hang in there and keep grinding. Jake Kunkel

This Is such a great talk. I used to be a loser. Wasnt there for my little girl, I was getting high, drinking, doing destructive shit. I woke up one morning and said "what am I doing to myself". I have been sober for a little over a year. I havent drank in 2 years. Now I lift everyday, spend time with my beautiful girl and love every minute of it. I treat my body like a machine and I value food, sleep and I work my ass off in the gym. These are the things that keep me on the right track. I love my life now. I just wish I didnt have to hit that low to get where I'm at.

It feels good to know other people use workouts as a way to clear your mind. A small injury took me away from working out for a few days and I felt like I couldn't focus or accomplish much. Now that I'm back to my schedule I feel a thousand times better.
