Every vid like this always fails to mention what type of wood works best, hard or soft, and how to identify between the two. Thats why so many people struggle and fail with this technique.
The length of the bow is up to you I like to get a stick about a foot and a half long but the important thing is that your bow is strong and the string should be tight enough that it’s kinda hard to get the spindle in but not impossible make sure that the rope is strong so it doesn’t break and also you don’t want anything stretchy otherwise you’ll waste energy
@@CreekStewart I hope you’re referring to iodized table salt or maybe some Kosher - otherwise I’m going to feel in-salted. My grandfather used to carry a coin purse like that:
Uh, yeah, there’s rather more to it than this. Oh, and in bushcraft circles, cedar is called “cheater” because it’s so easy to get embers from. Nice try, though.
That vest is fabulous! 🤗
Nice costume.
Tom Hanks didn't have the bearing block on the island, and that's why we had Wilson, who swam away to never be seen again.
Hahaha 😂😂 perfect response!
Learned this during covid, it's my fav way of showing off at a campsite now. Great demo
Thanks joshua!
Good job
Well explained, thanks my friend!!

Soft wood board, hard wood drill and bow. The hard part is getting the 2 different types and the string when you need them; without a "kit."
Thank you 🦧🦍
“And that’s really, how easy it is”
lol
My dude
Well done Roy Rogers!😅

Excellent! How long should the bow be? How long should the string be?

Hello Creek my Hoosier spiritual Brother.
It’s true. I’m a Hoosier and I love Jesus :)
@@CreekStewartI ❤ Jesus too! He delivered me from alcohol and drugs!
If Macklemore did country and western 🤣🤣🤣
Wish they’d make more “fat guys in the woods.” Your show was definitely the most realistic without all the extra drama and bs.
Not easy. There was a lot cut out.
