One of my house mates discovered while you're on attack if you run along the wall with this unit you can target their throw on cannons etc up top & take them out so he does that at the start of every attack.
This unit is too good to be a blue unit. I've recently played a game where the enemies just opened the gates and rushed outside with all their Outriders. Essentially there was about 8 units of cavs just running around the map.
agree with "to good" for being blue.... but that makes it interesting because everyone can have em...and it does make shield heavy enemies a bit more carefull ;)
I totally agree, got 190 unit kills with them in one game. They are ridiculous strong. Just throw 3 volley into modaos and kill half of them But currently a lot of players are too dumb to play them properly and charge them into death
@@johnnytruong3425 youre preaching to the choir.... i hate field maps (abundance of cav).... but a little more cav in sieges is ok after the modao / forte / slowmarch imps / stallwart meta crushing sieges into a slow pace
To my great surprise this seasonal unit became the best blue cav unit! Who would've guessed? But in all honesty this unit is rediculous, basically some of the fastest speed in-game, cc with the explosions and knockdowns, aoe damage, basically unlimited ammo with their resupply mechanic, autoaim better than any archer unit because they are the ones moving, and to top it all off they have so much armour pen that they can get around super highly armoured units and burst them down faster than iron reapers can. Honestly that clip where you backcharge the palace guards shows them doing so much damage so quickly that any t4 charging infantry unit would struggle to perform as well, hell iron reapers wouldn't even come close. And their speed means that getting backcharges is basically running from the enemy untill they get occupied and then turning. It basically highlights everything i've always said is retarded regarding cav.
Yeah every season just introduces another bull shit unit. I had kept my hope high for a long time, but it's just getting way too frustrating now. I have played maybe 10 sieges this season. Season 4 was probably the only season that did not introduce any batshit crazy unit. Literally ever other season introduced overpowered units, and the fact they only nerf them with the following season is just terrible.
I think they should reduce the range on these by a LOT to make it a little more balanced and increase the cooldown rate. Their mobility should be the pure advantage for these units
Outriders are really fun, indeed a blast of a unit! Its very good that they are blue tier as well, makes then more sustainable and accessible and not too hard to deal with considering they are rather fragile.
I'd like mounted ranged units much more if they could just stand still for god's sake. So damn annoying, everytime you activate your 1 ability they move around for no reason at all.
at first (before season) i thought yesssss.... then more info came out about them and i thought .... hmmmm .. i asume theyre gonna be crap ..... now i got them and i love em also "we dont take casualties" .. ..eeeuuhhmmmm ... .18/18 .. .and after 17/18 ;) ... do you mean the last one is back in camp making you all dinner? or did he .....die?
This and the other unit both did not need the ability to dominate the range and melee. Absolutely disgusting that these guys can beat gold cav in melee and disrupt heavy infantry. Just another armiger lancer.

I do the same, you can take out all the defense siege equipment pretty quick and easily

Finally found a t3 unit to replace my prefecture pikemen in my load out. Used this guys pretty much every game since they’ve came out.
The firsts TW I used outriders and selemchid, they are the best blue units for a cavalry party

Haha yeah they do have an annoying tendency to walk into the enemy!
It would be nice to set up to way points with a unit like this. Outriders Require a lot of micro management which may reduce the appeal.

How do you still play glaive, I stopped it cuz they nerfed blunt damage and couldn't do as much damage as before.

The new start of season only tier3 max unit for 31days, almost every1 using this unit to kill everything.
I enjoyed this game when I played it. Didn't get too committed because it seemed like I was so far behind and would never catch up. I enjoy your vids!
