  • If you've wanted to save yourself a few bucks on car maintenance, and want to service your car yourself, but aren't sure how, where to start, or what to even change - this video is for you!
I will be showing you how to complete a full service on your car, which involves changing all maintenance aspects of the car.
I didn't do my glow plugs on my car, as glow plugs are a nightmare and often snap in the engine and then it's a nightmare. Glow plugs also are normally good for the lifetime of the car unless they need to be changed if the car has running issues. Spark plugs on the other hand for petrols I recommend chaning every 2-4 years as they are more of a wear and tear item than glow plugs. If you do decide to change your glow plugs, make sure you let your engine run up to temo first, to allow you to have half a chance of taking them out (good luck).

Nice vid as always. I see numbers are steadily ticking up on subs and views, good job girl. Would be nice to mark the "chapters" of the video or however that thing is called.

Coolant should be topped up with distilled water, not tap water!

I’ve heard distilled water is worse than tap water. Softened or bottled water is better

Tap water will eventually clog it with calc and minerals

Maybe you could do an service video on older cars, including sparkplugs/glowplugs, crankshaft bearings, bushings and that kinda stuff.
