Mid 2016-Mania 2017, WWE was absolutely incredible! Smackdown especially, SD live was incredible during the first brand split back. Styles, Ambrose, Cena, Wyatt Family, Ziggler & Miz feuding for the IC title. Then you had the tag division with American Alpha, The USO’s when they first changed their characters & my favourites at the time, Breezango! What a time man
@@Nick-ek3nt then and last year are really the only times I’ve really watched WWE weekly without fail since 2009, once Jeff left, I stopped. Watched TNA still tho, right from the early days right up until The Hardy’s left for WWE when they was broken
Not just WWE. All of wrestling. Held titles in WCW, ECW, AWA, NWA, New Japan, All Japan, NOAH, etc. All weight classes, all tag divisions, all genders, even held a midg3t title. And held titles in every country and every continent (yes I heard Vacant won a title from an Antarctica promotion)
I will never forget Extreme Rules 2009. Jeff Hardy was my favorite and I was so ecstatic over seeing him win the title. Punk cashing in and taking it was when I learned what depression feels like
when all three members of the shield won the wwe championship in the same night it was amazing and i enjoyed it too 🤗 and a memory to remember forever 😍
I am very surprised that Vengeance 2001 isn't on this list considering the fact that both the WCW & WWE titles were held by two different people (Stone Cold & the Rock) but yet both were won by the same person in Chris Jericho.
I understand the focus on the top titles but I feel like this list needs to have the crazy hardcore title changes throughout Wrestlemania. Whether it was a PPV long story or a single match where the wrong man left with the title, that title was shining bright at the grandest stage of them all and it was because it changed hands so many times in a single night n
It's not main title, but tag team, but I remember on Raw (not remember the year) Miz and Cena defeated Slater and Gabriel for tag team titles, and few minutes later after instant rematch titles were back to Slater and Gabriel.
4:18 it’s also post-event satisfying as we have never had a stable all legitimately hold the top title in one night. This is equivalent to Ric Flair holding the title and HHH defeating him as Orton immediately challenges for the title ala Hulk Hogan in the Caesars Palace Wrestlemania and Orton wins but then Bautista cashes in a MITB opportunity and wins. That never happened but the entire Shield held the top title in one night. The fact that they have never really lost their place as the top talent in the world is unbelievable but you can argue that it all started here.
If you include the women's titles, then Money in the Bank 2019 is an honorable mention. Becky Lynch loses the Smackdown Women's title to Charlotte Flair, who then loses it to Bayley after Bayley cashed in the MITB briefcase she won earlier.
WWE should do a once a year "Belt Purge" where every belt holder's belt is up for grabs anywhere anytime between the filming of Raw and Smackdown. May sound stupid, but why not, wwe is heading down the crapper regarding title reign's anyway.
What about Bret Hart vacating the WCW championship before he faced Goldberg on Nitro?? Only to win that same title in the same night and start the NWO 2000??
@@jimbo_1312 True, but the WCW library & trademarks are a part of WWE now and the "big gold belt" was even referenced at the 1:05 mark. So I would assume it would at least be an honorable mentioned 🤷♂️
Wrestlemania IX was a result of Hogan's ego. Hogan convinced Vince that he should beat Yokozuna for the title "so the fans could go home happy" and story wise had Mr. Fuji issue the challenge to Hogan right after Yoko's match with Bret Hart. Hogan was then supposed to drop the belt to Bret Hart down the road. Only that never happened, because that didn't work for Hogan, brother. Hogan dropped it to Yokozuna instead.
Simon Miller needs a run as a guy in kayfabe is a super fan and all around wrestling nerd turned ringside commentator who does a video diary ups and downs about shows not realizing he really is posting his videos publicly on TH-cam and all the wrestlers know cuz the videos are popular and he gets into feuds with guys he has pissed off but no one tells him why he is feuding he just thinks the guys are jerks for no reason but eventually he is told everyone watches his videos and should incorporate ups and downs into the shows commentary live giving live breakdowns after every match never breaking kayfabe and occasionally getting into scuffles when he hurts peoples feelings being critical but is always saved by the wrestlers he praises! Whenever Barry the barricade is abused Simon is outrage and when the apron is incorporated he goes ballistic about no it’s the hardest part of the ring his normal routine now but all done in kayfabe with an occasional match here and there because a wrestler doesn’t like his reviews! Make this happen WWE or AEW or Impact you cowards!!!
Money in the Bank 2016 remains memorable because of the fact each member of the shield held the world title
All within about 5 minutes possibly less

Just like Simon said lol
Vacant still holds the record for most title reigns in WWE history
He/she/it has also become the only name to hold tag titles on their own multiple times AND both genders' titles...🤣🤣
@tom deville and the longest active wrestler of all time
@@finestwrestling9403 Sorry, what's my name again? Sonya is not my sister...🤣🤣

I was happy to see Jeff Hardy win the World Heavyweight title. Too bad C.M. Punk ruined his moment.
Glad to see Vacant get a shoutout! 😂
Fuji challenged Hogan.
This should just be renamed “10 best money in the bank cash ins”

The Shield owned wwe championship at mitb 2016
That 2011 night of RAW was the first episode that I ever watched too
Imagine how pissed off I was 🤣🤣
Mr. Fuji challenged Hogan at Wrestlemania IX, at least in story anyway.
Can you do The video of times where a Title match was done Twice on The same Night Like Big E vs Bobby Lashley AND Charlotte vs Sasha Banks.
There would be hundreds. Hell, probably over a thousand. That just doesn't make sense.
@@madman0329 ????
My friends and I were so close to not seeing Punk cash in on Hardy. We were leaving the tunnel when Punk’s music hit.
I def would've put MITB 2016 higher on this countdown, just because of the shield. That's never happen again or before.
I was at that on July 25th 2011
Wish Rey kept the title longer 😭

My favorite moment on this list was when Batista cashed in his Being Batista in the Bank contract. The Triple B!
Vacant is without a doubt the most decorated champion in sports entertainment history
Technically what happened with wm9.. Mr fugi made the challenge. Hogan just “happens” to win. And then lost it like a month later
your title says wwe championship, but your thumbnail shows the legendary whc.
Wish people would leave Yoko alone :( Love his work and he deserves his success
I was at Wrestlemania 26
Cashing in my being Batista in the bank
Dean's music never hit, he just appeared and whacked Seth with the briefcase; you only heard the fans react, then BOOM!
Didn't know johnny sins is also a vlogger with wwe content. Awesome
Vancant is a future HOF for his amazing Title Reigns 😂😅
I called the Sheamus cash in thought it made sense since a tournament was taking place for the title was a perfect time to cash in
I really thought No Way Out 2009 was gonna be 1#.
Huh Wade Barrett Thought you were his His Friend Steve? Didn't he meant his Friend "ADAM" As In Adam Wilboune! LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤟🏼👍🏻😎
The Jeff hardy one got me mad😭😭 nearly broke my tv
I was expecting the scramble match but it's fair to say that's low hanging fruit

Do a top 10 wrestlers who were cheated out of their title riegn
Vacant - WWE European Champion for 20 years and counting
Y2J vs Triple H: Raw 2001, or so, at PennState.
we can all agree that vacant is the real champion here
I still don't forgive taking the belt from Rey and giving it to Cena
Crazy how mark henry cost two successful cash in and Jeff Hardy beat edge 4 both wwe and world heavyweight titles
Simon Miller should wresle in wwe why chants at wrestlemania calling it now 1:00
What about when Hogan lost his first title to Andre? Andre sold it to Dibiase, but that wasn’t allowed and it was vacated.
Hogan lost it to Andre, that was only 1 title change. DiBiase didn't get the title. He was never the champion
