The Fact that you can talk for 10-20 minutes sometimes more with VERY MINIMAL breaks in between shows HOW MUCH knowledge you have about hair and all different types of hair, products, styles, etc. This man can talk for days and I ain’t mad at it. I always feel so much more knowledgeable after watching his videos

I wish mine would look as good. Beautiful hair. Black hair really is versatile and it is such a shame that most people have no idea just how wonderful it really is.
Wouldn’t versatile mean you can make a style, go out in the rain and then wear they style?
Having to avoid all moisture and water exposure for a month doesn’t sound like versatile to me
@@bperez8656 you obviously dont know black hair. Who is avoiding moisture for a month? How do you shampoo your hair then? When you silk press yes obviously you avoid water. ANY hairtype AVOIDS water once its blow dried and curled. Not exclusive to just black hair. Not sure the point you are trying to make but yes black hair is extremely versatile. You can go from curly to straight within a matter of min. That doesn't seem versatile to you? Oh ok then.
Seriously! My white butt lurks on Black hair TH-cam because the variety of textures and styles is incredible. The convenience factor with naturally straight hair is real, but it does get boring 😂
This is exactly what my daughter’s hair looks like. My family members always talk bad about how I never do her hair. I keep it in fuzzy ceily braids all the time. She has so much shrinkage that you can’t tell that she has waist length hair. It usually stop a little past her shoulders in its natural state. One day I straightened hair and posted a picture and everyone was shocked at how shiny, long, and think it is.
I hear the same about my daughter’s hair. I work a lot so I keep her hair in a loose corn rows and twist. She has beautiful coily hair and the shrinkage is serious. Less is more

Come on high porosity video. We've been waiting for months and finally we're next lol. I'm in the suburbs of Chicago and I see I might have to take a trip! That high shine is absolutely correct bc only certain stylist in the past and products gave me that shine. Let these ppl know about that prepoo cuz it's for the birds lol. 🤦Ok, I'll stop trimming while in twist. I do trim other ways too though. Communication is KEY!!! I love that part you covered here. Natural is work but I love it. I can't believe I didn't love my curls growing up.

I did a silk press on a client using your technique for the first time and the results were great!
I love how gentle you are during the blowout process! I’ve had several setbacks from stylists being too rough and trying to rush. Our hair can’t be rushed. When the stylist takes their time you get beautiful results! Excellent job!
I’m 15 months natural and I love my coily curls. Been relaxed since 1981.

I usually fast forward these types of videos to see the results but ....the knowledge you drop in your voice overs are BOMB! I dont want to miss anything you have to say. I love your work. Im from Philly and will fly out for you to press my hair (when it gets a little longer). I've went natural 3 times so far and had to start over each time due to heat damage. I told myself I will never put heat to my hair but I think you might be the only one person on thee planet that will make me reconsider!

My Grandmother was a hair stylist back in the day and she always said that healthy hair was easy to make look good but hair with issues required more tender hair styling/ cutting. I can see that you are very much like she was ...well done.

Wowwwww her hair looks amazing. It is so hard to find a professional Stylist that is into healthy hair not just perfecting a hair style. I can't count how many times I have had my hair damaged by a licensed stylist. It can be a scary situation putting your crown in the hands of another that you hope will care for your hair in a professional way. Thankfully I did find a professional Stylist that took the time to care for my hair and grow it back. My hair was in the center of my back before a so called professional Stylist damaged it. Keep up the awesome work you are so professional truly one out of a very few😘❤

I'm so scared of finding a stylist 😭. Anywhere I've gone has to either messed me over with a bad cut or I've done a better job than them. All the best around me are "white" salons and while I want to give them a chance I'm worried it'll set back my progress.
It’s hard but it’s possible! A Good stylist is becoming like a hidden gem😩. And i totally get what you mean about setting back your progress.

White stylists can be ok. With any stylist, you need to go into the salon and lay eyes on them. Look at the way they comb hair, how they consult with their clients and how professional they appear. It all matters
